“Bradley, I can explain.” Alyssa stared at me with wide eyes.

“What could you possibly have to tell me Alyssa? That you wanted to kill Mercedes because you had some sick thought that I would come running to you when she was gone?” I growled as I gripped her shirt and pulled her to me.

I wrapped my hands around her neck and I tried to stifle the urge to strangle her.
