LOGINBradley's POV
Benjamin strolled into my office with a lopsided grin on his lips and I stared at him expectantly.
“Well?” I asked when he remained silent. My eyes spied the file in his hand and I waited for him to hand it over to me but he didn't.
“What?” He chuckled, no doubt finding humour in my suspense.
“What's in the file? Did you find anything?” I asked and Benjamin sat down opposite me with an exaggerated sigh.
“Wouldn't you like to know. I will be benevolent enough to tell yo-” he began but I growled in warning, cutting him off.
“Alright, alright.” He held out the file to me and I eagerly took it.
“Whatever is in here better be worth it,” I told him.
“Trust me, you'll be disappointed.” He retorted as he leaned back in his seat and I quirked a brow at him.
“I couldn't find anything on Dylan, the guy knows h
Bradley's POV“You did what?” Benjamin asked as he doubled over in laughter.I growled but didn't reply to him as I watched my men load the car.“Bradley, you told me you were only going to make sure she returned to the pack house,” Benjamin reminded me with a smug grin and I felt like punching his teeth off. This was all Dax’s fault. He couldn't control himself around Mercedes. I cringed as I recalled how I had acted last night. I was an Alpha, a ruler feared and respected among his pack yet I had purred at the touch of a human.“Dax wanted her attention. He has been acting up lately, especially when it comes to Mercedes.” I revealed to Benjamin and I turned to assess his expression but the bastard didn't seem surprised in the least. Rather, he stared at me with amusement in his eyes.“Tell me something new Brad,” Benjamin shrugged and I playfully punched him.
Mercedes' POV My eyes snapped open as a loud howl echoed through the night. Was that Bradley?I rose from my bed and made my way to the window but I couldn't make out any figures down below.A wild thought crossed my mind and I bit my bottom lip contemplatively.Should I go down? What if it wasn't Bradley that was down there? What if it was a wolf who could hurt me?I'd never know unless I went out would I?Ignoring the more rational side of me, I quietly pulled open my door and tiptoed towards the kitchen.I let out a low breath as I closed the door shut behind me and looked around but to my disappointment, there was nothing out there. My head snapped to the side as I heard another howl and I followed the sound.A small gasp left my lips as I rounded the corner and glimpsed many wolves bowing down to Bradley who was still a human.“This is going to be our last run for a long time. I urge you all to connect with your wolves and let the spirit of unity dwell among us.” Bradley urged t
Mercedes' POV“It was out of my control Mercedes,” Miss Jenkins informed me as I nibbled on my bottom lip.“Am I going back to jail?” I questioned in a small voice. The court had finally summoned me and there was only one possible reason why they would have…to send me back to jail.“I don't know Mercedes, that is for the court to decide,” she explained to me and I thought I glimpsed sympathy in her eyes before it was gone.“Miss Mercedes Alexander,” the clerk called my name and tears stung my eyes.“You'll be fine Mercedes, whatever your verdict may be you'll be fine.” Mrs Jenkins encouraged but I didn't believe her words.I let out a small shaky breath right before I stepped into the courtroom and to my relief, it was only the judge and a lawyer who was present.“Miss Mercedes, evidence has surfaced against you showing that you've been

Bradley's POV “I need this case reopened Charles,” I frowned at nothing in particular as the man at the other end of the call sighed.“It's not as easy as-” he began.“We both know you can do it Charles. Have the case reopened and I'll owe you,” I bargained as I knew that was all the slimy bastard wanted to hear.“Alright then, I'll see what I can do.” Charles informed me just as a knock sounded at my door before Benjamin walked in.“Why are you so interested in the case anyways?” Charles asked.“No particular reason Charles, just reopen the damn case.” I said before ending the call and Benjamin quirked a brow at me.“What was that about?” He inquired.“I got him to reopen Mercedes case,” I revealed and something crossed Benjamin's face but before I could make out his expression it was gone.“I guess that's why you wanted this then,” Benjamin held out a huge file to me and I took it. It was all the findings on Mercedes' case.“Did you read through it?” I questioned and Benjamin nodde
Bradley's POV“He is just angry and hurt right now but he'll come around,” Benjamin called out to me and I realized I was still looking at the door.“I guess he has little choice,” I replied with a shrug.“What else did the council say?” Benjamin asked.“I have to go to Minnesota. The pack is officially mine now so I have to sort out everything that's going on down there.” I informed him and his eyes bulged. To be honest I was just as surprised as he was when I received the news.“What about the children? They haven't been away from you for such a long time.” Benjamin pointed out and I let out a tired sigh. There was so much to think about…“The children will come with me,” I stated and Benjamin quirked a brow at me as he folded his arms in front of his chest.“And Mercedes?” He asked and my heart dropped.“What
