I just about lost my mind when I couldn’t find my angel anywhere. I had searched the whole packhouse. I even searched the library. I admit that I hadn’t looked through the entire library but no one needed to know that. Besides her scent was nowhere in that room. She might have thought that she was able to hide her scent from me but I had followed it all the way to the back door. I have no idea why she would walk out into this storm but I almost followed her. Luke stopped me because apparently, he had also followed her scent as well.

"If she really went out there then she is using her abilities to calm the storm enough to see. We will not be able to.” Luke says.

“Why would she want to chance going out in this shit?” I asked.
