Pov: Harriet

As the days went by, I couldn't shake off the tension that lingered between Alpha Wade and myself. It was clear that he was still harboring some form of resentment towards Josh and me. I knew this needed to be addressed, for the sake of the pack's harmony.

Taking a deep breath, I approached Alpha Wade in his study, determined to have an open and honest conversation. The room was adorned with ancient artifacts and books, lending an air of wisdom and authority to the space. Wade sat at his desk, engrossed in his work, but he looked up when he sensed my presence.

"Alpha Wade," I began, my voice steady but filled with concern. "I wanted to talk to you about Josh and me."

His gaze met mine, his green eyes flickering with a mixture of emotions. "Go on," he said, gesturing for me to continue.
