The day for the auction was finally near, the Slaves were all bonded with shackles and dragged like animals to the auction ground, as they dragged the slaves to the black market, which covered a short distance from the establishment, it is a hundred meter from the establishment to the black market, where the auction would take place.

Finally, they reached the auction ground, their feet trembled as they walked towards where they will be kept, before being sold, they saw the warden. 

The warden walked towards the guards assigned to watch over them.

"Blindfold them"

He said, walking towards the curtain, which separated them from the Slav buyers.

"Gather the warriors, there are possibilities that Bethel have heard about the king buying slaves and will bring his men for battle to attack the king."

The Beta said, Alexander, the second in command after the alpha king. He was not sure if the vampire king have heard any news about the king buying slaves, but he knew he can't take chances and giving any wins to the vampires, the black market were going to be filled with vampires and the witches, including the hybrids, and all other creatures and if the fight was gonna happen, it won't happen in the establishment, but, maybe after the auction.

"Arrange warriors at the north, west, south and east gates of the establishment, as far as to the Ithaki hills, there are possibilities that the vampires will set an ambush for us."

Alexander said again, ordering the warriors to also set camp for the king, since it had been a long journey from the dark moon pack to the establishment, as he walked to alpha Aiden, who looks calm, as if he was not concerned with whatever the vampires could be planning on doing.

"You look calm, my lord, don't you think we should start moving towards the establishment, I have sent the guards to arrange the camps in these locations, where we could stay for the night, before setting back to the pack"

Alexander said, bowing down to the king, even though the king was his brother, he still respects him, the King's wrath was not something he could mess with, he knew what the king was capable of, the king was capable of dividing his body into two equal parts without blinking an eye.

"The vampires will attack the slaves we bought, they won't dare step their foot into my territory, just protect the slaves."

Aiden said, looking at his beta, he could see he was trying to protect him, but he forgot so easily that he was the next second surviving pure blooded on the throne.

"Have you heard any recent reports about the killings that happened eight years ago, I sent the butler, Durex, to report to me immediately when the message is delivered, did he delivered the message"

He asked Alexander.

"No, he did not, maybe he had not received any information yet, an information like this is not easy to investigate, since it had happened a long time ago, and there won't be any reasons why he should hide such information from you if he had been informed about it"

Alexander said, bowing down to him, 

"Are you siding him, because if you are doing that, then know that your head will be cut just like the way am going to do with him."

He said, looking at his beta, his eyes flaring with anger, he hates it when someone tries to protect someone else, he termed it to be a weakness.

"I am sorry my king, I won't make such unnecessary remarks again."

Alexander said bowing down, Alexander knew he does not have to make the king more angrier, the king is about to find his mate, and Alexander hoped, it won't be a slave, remembering the letter that was sent to the king by Cara, the daughter of the alpha of the Hood pack, 

"Cara sent you a message"

Alexander said, handing the alpha a letter, the alpha took it, opening it without no interest, a scowl appeared on his face, as the scent of gross perfume wafted from the paper, not reading completely what she wrote, he tore the paper into shreds.

"Now should we go Alexander, to buy ourselves a slave."

Aiden said, looking at his cousin, 

"A slave, just one slave."

Alexander asked, surprised that the king walked all the way down here to buy a single slave.

"Yes, or are you planning on buying the whole establishment."

He asked, looking at Alexander, a scowl on his face.

"No, just a slave Alpha Aiden."

Alexander bowed down, submitting himself to his alpha.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we bring to you our goods, ranging from dark to fair, wide to tight, strong to weak, but especially, timid, and obedient."

The warden said, at his words the crowd clapped with vigor, excited at what they will buy, the goods worth their assets. The curtain opened, the curtain which separated the crowds from the slaves.

As the crowds looked at the slaves, they hissed with eagerness to buy the slaves, they were filled with lust and awful thoughts already began skimming in their heads.

The warden having seen the satisfaction he got from the faces of his buyers decided to go on with the main deal, which is the auction trade. 

A guard dragged a slave to the front of the audience, the slave stood straight, eyes blindfolded, but it was removed quickly, likewise the other slaves, their blindfold was removed and they were able to see their surrounding and their new masters.

Sharriah stood, already been separated from Envaline, her eyes filled with disgust from the look she got from the buyers, they looked at her like a toy.

"This is one of our first slave, delicate but rough in things you want her to do, an expert in fighting, an expert in bedmatics...."

The crowd roared in joy and acceptance at his last words,

"Disgusting bastard"

 Sharriah hissed

"And also a tight one for that matter, you do enjoy her to the fullest....."

The warden said again. She could hear the tearing of clothes, looking up at the stage, she realized that the slave's clothes had been torn into pieces and the slave was standing stark naked in front of the audience, what she saw made her heart shook.

This was a big shame than what she had received before, she was used to standing up naked in front of the other slaves, but standing up naked in front of strangers was worse than other punishments she do received before, and she was not sure if she was able to be part of this degrading of humans, were they even humans, they were toys.

"Don't you like what you see, she is so sweet and tempting, the bidding starts from fifty gold coins."

The warden said,

'Fifty gold coins.'

Sharriah thought, gasping at the warden's bid, how could someone be sold for such amount of money, it was too poor to even reckon with, even though it had been long she had been separated from the outside world, she was taught the value of money at a tender age and these amount of money does not seem fit to purchase a slave, but it seemed quite obvious now that slaves are considered worthless in the eyes of the buyers.

She could hear screams from the crowd, struggling to get the slave.

"Hundred gold coins"

"One fifty gold coins"

"Two hundred and thirty gold coins"

"Three hundred cold coins"

"Five hundred gold coins" 

"Eight hundred gold coins"

At the last coins mentioned, the crowds stopped bargaining,

"One, two, three"

"The bid goes to Mr Lin."

The warden said, at his words the man whom she considered to be Mr Lin, walked towards the girl, dragging her towards him, His eyes shone with evil, images of how he will deal with his new slave, he whispered something into the slave girl's ear, a cringe appeared on her face, and the crowd roared with laughter at his act.

 The bid continued for sometime, till she heard a name which sounds familiar was called.....

"Envaline Drukshel...."

Sharriah's eyes widened in shock and fear, Envaline turned looking at her, Envaline was totally scared.....getting sold wasn't easy as they taught.

Sharriah closed gee eyes tightly, she could not watch as they dragged her beat friend to the crowd......suddenly, she perceived a scent, which wafted through her nose, a scent, so strong and so manly, it smelt like earth with rain, and she closed her eyes, inhaling onto the scent, wheresoever the scent was coming from, it sure doesn't come from the crowd, it was a strange scent.

Sharriah felt her heart beat increased the more she perceived this scent.

"Mate."

She heard the strange word in her mind, she didn't know who was communicating with her, but all she knew was that, she was not the one talking to her self, and she did not know where that voice came from. 

All these strange things were happening am at the same time.

She opened her eyes, looking around, trying to decipher where the scent came from, as she looked around, totally forgetting there was a slave trade going on, quickly, her eyes made contact with grey golden eyes.

It was as if the eyes was waiting for her to look back, the eyes looked at her with vigor, not blinking and the eyes was scrutinizing her, she bowed her head in silence, confused at her actions and more confused if the scent came from him.

As she removed her eyes from him, she heard the same low voice speaking in her mind...

"MATE"
