Alpha Arnold POV

"I need your help with something," I said to my Gamma the next day as I waved him into my study.

His expression was a mixture of confusion and curiosity delicately balanced together as he walked in and closed the door behind him.

He settled himself in a chair that was opposite mine across my mahogany desk.

As soon as he found his if he asked me what I needed me for and I hesitated quickly tapping my fingers on my desk, then without lifting my eyes I told him that I needed him to arrange with a travel agency a first class trip to California.

His immediate response was a stunned silence.

"Did something happen?" he was finally able to voice his concern, leaning forward with his hands crossed reminding me that I had just returned back to the pack but I told him that the trip was not for me but for my mate now he became even more confused as he lifted up one eyebrow questionly.

However just by looking at my face he was able to tell that I was not in the mood for questions
