Chapter Nine

It was getting dark already and I was worn out, I'd finished eating and talking to my mum. We talked about the things I did while I was away and she kept reminding me of how much she missed me while I was gone.

"Please don't leave me like that again, I can't even explain how I could survive without hearing anything from you Kael," She said while patting me on my cheeks.

I gave out a smile and assured her I wouldn't be disappearing again. I slowly strolled to my room while trying to prevent my eyelids from shutting, I can't believe all this drama happened in one day. I entered my room, went straight to the bed and laid down like a fallen wood, my eyes were about to close when I heard a knock on the door.

"Mum is that you? I'm asle-e-ep" I said lazily.

But the person said nothing and kept knocking, I slowly got off the bed and opened the door.

"Hey my love, I heard you were back and I came to see my baby"
