Jace's POV.

“To look like a family, we’ll be taking the bus together. Get in.”

I entered last, seated by the door where I could look outside. Where I could stay distracted.

“We're set, alpha Brooks. We're ready to go.”

“Leave then, will asking me stupid questions get us there any faster?”

“No alpha.”

“Good. Then move.” He hollered.

The engine veered to life and our driver moved the bus immediately.

Alpha Brooks, a man with muscles for mass and a tall build of about 6ft, a leader in his prime, war conquer, slayer of men and werewolves who went against him.

A man who had never lost a war or fight, sat in the middle, Aiden to the left and I, just where I could look at the roads as we traveled.

The drive out the pack began quiet, Aiden stuck his face on his phone, Father read a newspaper and then his phone, I rested my head, slid my earphones in there and closed my eyelids.

The song ‘I give my all’ played in the background. Soft, gentle and calming.

    Jace's POVThe maids returned to clear the mess we made from breakfast, the woman who’d spoken to me was nowhere to be found.When I asked, the maids told me they knew no one like that.My eyelids fluttered with shock.“What do you mean there's no maid like that?
