Aurora’s POV

The lights were too bright, almost blinding that I had to squint against it. But then again that might also be because my entire world seemed to be a blur.

Everything felt fuzzy and unreal. I opened my mouth to speak, to ask a question and realized that I couldn't. It wasn't my voice which came out. It was someone else's, deep and commanding.

“Lay back” as deep as it was, I knew I would recognize it anywhere, it played with the beat of my heart.

I obeyed.

Alpha Daniel’s beautiful face graced mine, those brown orbs seemed to be locked in worry . His lips pressed tightly together as he leaned over me. When did he get here? Had I really slept for so long? It seemed to have been days, weeks even, without noticing his presence.
