Alpha Logan stood there staring at her in silence while a lot of thoughts raced through his mind, this might not be the 19th century but she was still his mate and he had the right to take her away, he could claim her right here and right now if he wished to.

But the Alpha werewolf didn’t want to be forceful with her, unlike most of his kind, he could be as quiet and slow as a snail at times. He was quick to anger but slow to react, moreover he also considered her human feelings.

The fact that they were part animals didn’t mean that they had to act like one. He also admired the look of courage and fearlessness in her eyes; just his kind of girl… The moon goddess knew just what was right for him, it’s only unfortunate that he had to meet her in such circumstances.

“We belong together, so why won’t you come with me?” He asked in a calm voice, trying to pretend that seeing her like that was no big deal, even though he could still fill the stinging pain in his heart.

She sighed and clutched her bedspread tight to her body. Logan found it funny that she was trying to cover what she offers to men in exchange for money, maybe he needed to pay to see it, laughable!!

“To begin with, I don’t even know you… That you are the destined one doesn’t mean that you can just barge in here and take me away, I won’t be a slave to any man or wolf so get that straight!!

And secondly, I am on duty here… Yes, your mate is a sex worker and I am currently booked with someone. Oh wait… I remember, you just knocked him out and now who is going to pay? You expect me to just leave with you? In your dreams, sucker!” She barked with flamy eyes.

She had round green eyes that looked like they would pop out of their sockets as she scolded him, but they were beautiful.

Alpha Logan didn’t realize when he started smiling, she was feisty and hotheaded, giving off bad girl vibes… he couldn’t understand why he always fell for these tough feisty girls, now he had one as a mate.

“So, you are doing this for the money?” He asked curiously 

She froze and there was a look of uncertainty in her eyes, like he had just hit something deep down her.

“Um… ye… Yes! Of course, why else would I do it?” She stuttered nervously, replying to his question with a question, while avoiding eye contact with him.

“Hmm…” Logan muttered softly, a look of doubt on his face. “Alright then, how much would it cost to book you for the whole night, to cover all the loss it would cost for your absence here tonight?” He asked softly

The Alpha werewolf was hoping to get through to her when they were out of here, he could convince her not to come back here and also get to know her better. He just couldn’t stand the fact that his mate was one of the women whom he despised the most~ a harlot.

“You want me to come with you, for the whole night? I told you I am not going anywhere with you except if it is business, so if I should agree, it’s clear that our outing is strictly for business, no other reasons,” she bargained.

Logan shook his head in acceptance. “Alright, just for business… you have my word,” he replied

She made a small pout and looked at him with scrutinizing eyes that made him chuckle. He had barely known her for thirty minutes and he was already falling for her, not even minding that an old fool was in between her legs less than thirty minutes ago.

“Fine… I will come with you for two hundred dollars, don’t even try to mess with me or am gonna fuck you up!” She warned with her second finger waving at him.

Alpha Logan threw his hands in the air and smiled. “Alpha’s Word, we have a deal.” He muttered and she smiled. She might have been impressed to know that he was from an Alpha family, and he didn’t even complain about the prize.

They both stared at each other in silence for a minute or two and she made a funny expression that included widening her eyes.

“What? I am waiting…” Logan muttered confused with her unsaid words.

“Uh Huh…. well turn around so I can get dressed, I am naked under here, hello??” She fired sarcastically.

“Huh? But I…”

“Just do it already and save us both the time,” she cut him short quickly. He chuckled and turned around as she instructed, he turned his back to her.

Logan couldn’t believe that all of this was happening; he had visited a brothel for the first time, he was unable to find his best friend and now he was leaving with a sex worker who happened to be his soulmate. Could today get any weirder?

Alpha Logan walked down the stairs with his mate by his side, he couldn’t help but admire her long beautiful red hair, she was more light-skinned than he was.

She had dressed up in a skimpy red gown that revealed all of her curves and hips. She was heavily endowed with ass and medium sized boobs, her tiny waist making hips more evident.

He critically examined her with his eyes and noticed she had a piercing on her nose, with a small beautiful ring on it. He was drooling over what he considered disgusting an hour ago, what happened to his morals and principles? Maybe his mate was an exemption to that critical review

They walked down to the lower passage and Logan remembered why he was actually here in the first place. He didn’t care to wait for Bart anymore, he had more important issues to handle; the human wouldn’t even believe what had just happened if he told him.

Logan heard someone scoff and laugh from a distance, he turned to his left and saw the lady who had tried to lure him earlier

“So you chose her over me? It’s your loss though ,” the lady said mockingly and laughed, her cigarette still burning in her hand.

His mate looked at him with a crumpled face, it was as if she was asking for an explanation. Did she even have the right to ask him for one? He found her in a damn brothel

Oh wait! That’s also where she found him, why else would men come here if not for sexual pleasure. she must think that he is no different from her, and if that was the case, he didn’t have a right to judge her, or does he?

They walked out of the small shady gate and Logan led her to his car. He unlocked it with the remote and tried to open the door for her but she made it to the handle first. “I know how to open a door,” she muttered sarcastically and rolled her eyes at him

He smiled and let go, then he gave her a go ahead signal by nodding his head. She scoffed and opened the door, and then walked into the car. She sat on the seat beside the driver’s.

He laughed softly and hurried to the driver’s side, and then he got in and locked the door. She stretched her right hand towards him immediately, like requesting for something.

“Now?” He muttered

“Are you new here, you pay before leaving with the lady, that is how it is done,” she fired with wide eyes.

“Alright, no need to get violent,” he said and gave in like the softie he was. “And also, I don’t do this so I don’t know how it works,” he grumbled with a stern face 

She scoffed and laughed softly. “Men are such terrible liars, what then are you looking for here?” She queried with curious eyes.

Logan furrowed his eyebrows, his demeanor changed. “I only came here to see a friend, if I want a woman, I will get myself a girlfriend… here is your money,” he said bluntly and handed her a note of a thousand dollars.

The Alpha wolf was no longer smiling, his countenance had changed completely all of a sudden, probably because of what she said.

“I said two hundred, not a thousand,” she replied, while leaving his hand hanging in the air. She didn’t seem to care about his change of expression, she wasn’t smiling either.

“Well keep the change,” he retorted 

She was hesitant about it for a while, then she took it roughly from his hand. “I will take the rest as compensation for your trouble, so don’t even think I owe you shit!”

Once again the Alpha was forced to smile. This bitvh is crazy!! He ignited the car and began to reverse. Bart could find his way later, the Alpha had mate issues to handle.

“Where are we going?” She asked softly as they hit the road. Once again, she was avoiding eye contact with him.

“You will see,” he muttered softly and smiled.
