Logan headed for the kitchen in search of Orla; a servant had informed him that she was there. The Alpha just couldn’t understand why his mate had refused to talk to him since she returned. Was she angry with him? But what could he have possibly done wrong to deserve her anger?

The party was over and all of the guests had just left, including Logan’s parents. Hazel and her boyfriend had retired to their new room which was very far from Logan and Orla’s block. Well, both couples needed privacy and luckily for them, the house was big enough to give them that.

He arrived at the kitchen door downstairs and pushed it open, like he had expected, she was there. Orla was just drinking water from the fridge when he got there; she saw him and dropped the bottled water immediately.

Orla turned around and made to leave the kitchen but Logan quickly stood between the two ends of the door and spread his arms to stop her from passing. She tried to push through by force but he grabbed her wrist and d
