Blaze's POV
Summer had been on my mind since last night. I was looking around her house for any hunters or vargulfs.
According to Keahi, the hunters have been on the move since last week. They were pursuing us one by one. I was only concerned about her safety.
I was prowling around in my wolf shape.
'I pretty sure she was safe' Fernis, my wolf said.
'Yeah.. I think so too'
The sun was about to rise, so I decided to return to the mansion. I changed my clothing and went downstairs to return to the city.
Brigid inquired, "Where have you been?"
"Just roaming around," I explained.
"You know it's dangerous to go out now, right?"
"Brigid, I can take care of myself, okay?"
"I know. "All I ask is that you be cautious."
"You don't have to worry about me, just worry about yourself,"
I went to the garage to get the car fixed. I haven't used it in a long time since Agni left us. I decided to stop because it reminded me of him. We used to drive it around different cities to meet up with other werewolves, but we couldn't do it anymore, Keahi hardly ever hangs out with me.
"It's been a while since I saw that," Keahi exclaimed. He was quite a sentimental werewolf.
"Yeah, me too,"
"Wanna go for a ride?" I offered.
"Is that still working?"
"I mean, I can repair it." "Will you meet me at the front gate?"
"Heck, yeah,"
I eventually got the car to work after repairing the minor faults. I jumped in and drove to Keahi. He was grinning as he waited for me. I hadn't seen his real smile in a decade. It was exhausting to argue with him every single day.
"Where do you want to go?"
"Let's go to Tom's." "I'd like to pay him a visit,"
"Alright, hop in!" I replied before driving away.
As I was driving, I noticed Summer sprinting. Why was she even running? Was there something she needed to do right away?
"I need to drop you off here, Keahi. Simply stroll to Tom's. You're only 5 minutes away from here," I said, motioning Keahi to get out of the car.
"Are you kidding me?" "What's the problem?" Keahi stated, startled.
"Uhm... I need to go to the bathroom hehe," Let's hope my excuse works.
"Seriously? "You may use Tom's restroom," he suggested.
"Ugh, just get out of the car!" I'll see you there, bye!" I yanked him from the car.
I drove away, leaving Keahi in the dark. I spotted her again, and she was still running, huh? She said she was late for school and decided to give her a ride.
I went straight to Tom's after dropping Summer off at school. I saw Keahi laughing with Tom, but when he noticed me, his countenance darkened again. Let's attempt to keep things cool. Keahi, aren't you a good wolf?
"Keahi! You're having a great time, eh, and hello, Tom! "Nice to see you again," I said jokingly.
"Shut the f*** up." "Don't pretend you didn't abandon me on the street earlier,"
"Don't be dramatic, it's just a five-minute walk," I told him.
"You two never changed haha," Tom laughed at our foolish quarrel before handing us a drink.
We stayed in Tom's bar for hours and didn't even notice the time passing. I informed Keahi that we needed to get home before the sun went down. He was really inebriated and could barely walk. What the hell? I don't want to be his nanny. This wolf was a tremendous pain in the ass.
I carried Keahi back to the parking lot. It was already dark outside, and numerous individuals were smoking.
"Run!" yelled a man, and I heard gunfire nearby.
Someone was following us, and I realized my car window was shattered. I quickly opened the door and pulled Keahi inside. The gunfire was still trailing us. There are already several shots in the automobile. I ducked my head and began driving away.
"It's the hunters," Keahi observed. He was already sober and staring at the man who had shot our automobile.
"What? "Did they recognize us?"
"I suppose not. They're also shooting at other cars. Maybe they're looking for someone else. "Drive faster!" he exclaimed.
We drove past Tom's pub, and as I peeked out the window, I noticed Summer hiding beneath the table. The bar was also in complete disarray. I could not see the road because there were so many people rushing, and the others were covered in blood and bruises.
"Keahi, I need to go back to the bar," I blurted out.
"What? No! Blaze, if they catch you, you're dead," Keahi said flatly.
"I know," I said, "but I have to go to her."
"Her? "Who the fuck was that, and you're willing to put your life in danger?"
"I need to protect her, her name is Summer okay!" I screamed, "You drive!"
I took Keahi's hand in mine and placed it on the steering wheel. We traded places, and I was now the passenger. As soon as Keahi approached the door of the bar, I opened the car door and jumped out.
"Hey! Take precautions! "I'll lure these jerks out here," Keahi yelled.
I glanced at him as he transformed into a wolf. He then raced in the opposite direction of the bar, and the hunters followed. I entered the pub to see Summer.
"Wilder?" she inquired.
"Hey, you alright?"
"I'm scared," she admitted. I noticed tears attempting to escape her eyes. I hate seeing her like this.
"Shhh... I'm here, I'll protect you... and your friends, too," I said, smiling broadly. I examined the bar for a suitable hiding spot.
"We're just going to wait until they're gone, okay?" I said. I wrapped my hand around her to keep her safe, but I was still keeping an eye on the place.
As soon as I was certain that it was okay, I informed them that they were free to crawl out from the table whenever they were ready. Everyone is fine, according to my checks.
"What the hell was that?" Summer's friend asked.
"I don't know," Summer said.
"How are you? "Do you know what happened?" her companion said.
"No, I have no idea," "Let's go, I'll bring you home,"
I need to get them out of here as soon as possible. I need to get back to the mansion immediately. I really hope that Keahi was okay. I need to know what was going on. Why were the hunters out here?
Blaze's POV"Are you sure you don't know them?" Summer inquired."Trust me, I don't. "I just got there because I saw you," I stated. We were driving to her house. So I decided to bring her home to ensure her safety. "We're here," I said quietly."Thank you, and hey... umm... you'll show up again, right?" She mentioned this before getting out of the car."I'll show up whenever you need me, Summer," I promised."That was all I needed to hear. "Thank you for protecting me earlier," she replied, smiling brightly. I waited for her till she entered their home. Before going to the estate, I checked to see if they had followed me.*On the grounds of the mansion*I parked the car close to the gate. There were numerous cars parked outside. Keahi, I believe, gathered the pack. "We're waiting for you, Blaze," Tom explained."What's going on?" I inquired as I hurriedly opened the door.I was taken aback when I saw Brigid. She was resting her head on the ground, and Keahi had positioned himself
Summer's Point Of View I waited behind the closed door till Wilder started his car. I raced to our garage to get my car since there was something about Wilder's action that made me concerned and pondered intensely. 'I'm curious what's going on in his thoughts.' I drove a few meters away from his car; he was driving into the forest; it was dark, and my car's lights could hardly see the road. "Fuck, I lost him!" The car he was driving had gone black in the middle of the woods. There are no houses here, only big trees. I dislike coming here, so I got out of my car and began walking. I noticed a lake distance from the road, and the mosquitoes and cricket sounds bothered me. When I watched a naked man leap into the lake, I hid in the bushes, hoping he wouldn't find out I was there. He'd actually freak out. While I was hidden, ants began to creep to my feet and bite me, causing me to gasp and fall. He wasn't there when I got up. "Where'd he go?" "Show yourself or I'll kill
Blaze's Point of View Summer was so upset that she refused to let me take her home. I realize I was an idiot. I didn't ask her permission since I was so taken with her beauty in the moonlight. I can't stop myself from kissing her. While she was walking, I stealthily followed her. 'Fenris, be keep a watchdog,' 'I've been on the lookout since you kissed that girl,' 'That's not funny,' As she made her way to her car, I noticed Keahi eyeing her from a distance. What exactly was he doing here? Didn't he notice me? He trailed Summer until she opened the door. Keahi gradually transformed into his wolf form and attacked Summer's automobile. When he did it, I was fairly far away. When Summer leaped out of her car and Keahi was going to jump on her, I stepped in between them and prevented Keahi from attacking Summer. "Enough!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Keahi's eyes widened as he spotted me; he was in complete disbelief. "Are you okay?" I checked Summer's arms to see whether she had
Summer's Point of ViewI was severely traumatized by what transpired that night. I arrived at school early because I couldn't sleep since every time I closed my eyes, I saw that awful beast. The announcement wall was crowded with students. Oh, yes, prom night was quickly approaching."Hey," Sam said as I was studying the prom poster details."Hey," I said."So who are you going to bring?" "I'm not sure," "They're allowing outsiders,""It would be so crowded,"I had the honor of being crowned prom queen the year before. I was quite well-known at school, and a lot of guys tried to approach me, but they were all turned down."Hi, Summer. I was just wondering whether you could be my prom date--,""No, not interested," I cut Jameson off right away because I sensed it coming."Woah, that's actually not cool, you just said earlier you're not sure, who your going to bring,""Yeah, Not Jameson though, Sam,""He's kind of cute,""Hahaha funny, all of the dudes for you is cute,""Because they
Blaze's Point of View"Here, I bought it for you," Summer stated, handing me a paper bag.Summer invited me to dinner, so we're at a restaurant. I promised her I'd be the one to book it, and I chose the restaurant we co-owned with Agni."What is this?" "It's a coat, you could wear that to the party,""Summer, you don't have to buy me stuff, I should be the one buying you things,""It's fine, I wanted to buy that for you, I think it would look good.""Thank you,"It was practically evening when we finished dining and went out. I made the decision to bring Summer home."So, see you tomorrow?""Okay, I'll pick you up, okay?" "Please wait for me,""I will, drive safe," Before driving away, I smiled at her. I don't like the fact that the pack was plotting an attack on the hunters on the night of the school's prom. But if I wasn't an Alpha, I wouldn't be able to stop them. When I arrived at the mansion, our pack members were already preparing for the next day. There are guns and swords ev
Blaze's Point of View I removed the black rose from Summer's chest. People began shouting and fleeing as they heard gunshots in the middle of the a party. "What's happening?" Summer questioned me, but I chose to disregard her inquiries and seize her in order to search for a room in which we could hide. I discovered an empty classroom far away from the party; I hope no one finds her here. I was thinking about leaving her here and helping the pack. "Stay here, don't go there no matter what, okay?" I told her that we could still hear screams outside. "What? "Are you going to leave me here?" Summer yelled. I have a responsibility to help the pack, which comprises of many more hunters than we do. I needed to make certain that everyone was safe. "It's dangerous out there, I'll check how I could get you out of here," "Promise me, you'll be back," "I promise," I kissed her forehead before leaving the room, "I will make sure no one sees us." One hunter tried to shoot me as I wal
Summer's Point of ViewThe school was so calm the day after the chaos that no students were on the field. That night may have left them all terrified. While we were making our way to our rooms, Sam remarked that the atmosphere had changed. "There's a different vibe right now," she said. Regardless of what transpired, school resumed. The teachers didn't appear to care about what happened, and the gymnasium was closed because there were still a lot of obvious damages. One of the students was overheard saying, "They said there are werewolves last night," while I was in the locker room.I'm curious where Wilder was; he left me in an empty room to return to the gymnasium. Was he also seeing werewolves? "Summer, the professors wants us at the auditorium!" Sam yelled. When we got at the auditorium, there were already a large number of pupils present."We're announcing to close the classes for a week, because of what happened last night, I want you all to take a rest and freshen your minds.
Blaze's Point of ViewSummer asked me to Sam's house party; if I want to protect her, I must accompany her. I noticed Keahi seated next Summer as she went to get her beer. I dashed over to where they were and stopped Keahi in his tracks. This jerk Keahi bought her a drink, I deduced. Was he attempting to meet Summer? What on earth was he thinking?"Let's go back to our table, Summer," I gave Keahi one last look before exiting the counter. "Why are you so upset, Wilder?" Summer questioned."Nothing, I was just trying to protect you,""Guard me? Uhmm.. I just wanted to bring to your attention that this is, in fact, a party. So it's logical that we'd meet new people.""I know, but that guy, he seems like a not nice person,""How did you know?" "Do you know who he is?"Yes, Summer, I know Keahi better than you, but it wasn't what I would say. I don't want her to be affiliated with any of them, Brigid or Keahi."Do you want to go out?" "It's getting late," I say. I didn't answer Summer
