The moisture of the water was cold and chilly as Carlos gritted his teeth concurrently. Miriam twirled left and right in the uncomfortable hospital bed. Her eyes slowly flickered open causing a bit of dizziness! Her hand hauled towards her head before rubbing it softly. She stared at her surroundings to accelerate where she was. She wondered why she wasn't lying inside a coffin dead, what was she doing on a bed? "Where am I?" Miriam let out as she quickly got up from the bed to remove the plastic tube injected into her vein but the nurse quickly held her before she could do that. Carlos had gone home to clean up and he was back shortly with what he had cooked for Miriam. It was late midnight and everywhere was murky and quiet but Miriam had been standing at the kitchen counter clenching her stomach while struggling to hold her sobs for Ten minutes now. She picked up the knife on the counter before glaring at her midsection. Miriam had been gazing at the stars through the window of her room for what seemed to be an hour now.
