"Don't belittle yourself, Carlos, Miriam was the lucky one because you choose to marry her." Gina still insisted and that made Carlos a bit furious.

"Mother, if you did something before that might have ruined your relationship with dad. Would you tell him about it?" Carlos asked his mother keenly.

"Married people practice honesty, if you love that person so much as you have claimed. I think they deserve to know the truth and if the person loves you, you would be forgiven." Gina told Carlos plainly.

"What if what you did could not be forgiven?" Carlos asked.

"It's not true because forgiveness is a choice but what's important is that they know the truth and that you didn't lie to them, you honored them with your honesty even if the truth hurt. Hold on. What exactly is this about?" Gina asked her son as she rubbed the nape of her neck nicely.

"Mother, you didn't raise me to be a liar and I don't want to keep on fooling myself and the person I love the most in this life." Carlos had
