CHAPTER 9

Christian couldn't keep up in Miriam's hospital room any longer. He stepped outside the building of the hospital to cool off, he walked to a narrow corner close to a wall as he began to punch hard at the wall. His eyes were red and darkened with anger, Christian felt more useless when he recalled Miriam saying she called for him but he wasn't there to save her.

He was going to throw another punch when his father held him back. "Stop that son, you know for sure that doing this wouldn't prevent what has already been perpetrated. Right?" His father said but he only wept harder.

"Doing this makes me feel less guilty father," Christain let out. "You should be by Miriam's side now that she needs you but staying here and causing more damage to your hands would only make her worry more." His father let out as Romeo and his men trudged toward them.

"I should leave. I would keep you updated if I find any suitable news regarding Miriam's case." Romeo let out.

"Alright, thank you." They said
