Katla

“Of course I know where I come from! I come from Iceclaw. Our people were from the North, but came South to protect the humans. As we left the sea and snow and ice, we looked back and were marked with blue eyes. I’ve heard where I’m from hundreds, maybe thousands of times.” Damien looked lost in thought as his brow furrowed and his mouth tensed. I bit the corner of my bottom lip, waiting for his response.

“Katla, how do you expect me to control myself while you are biting your lip like that? It is driving Sargon mad.” Sargon, that must be his wolf. Grinning, I twisted a lock of my golden hair around my finger and looked deep into his smoldering eyes. “Mine,” Aurelia approved.

“I could mark you right now, Katla,” Damien put a finger to my chin and pulled my mouth close to his, tipping my head to the side, exposing my neck. He gently kissed my lips and my body filled with sparks and I became wet with anticipation. He breathed down the nape of my neck to my shoulder. Chills formed and he kissed the space where my neck met my shoulder where the necklace he gave me earlier in the evening rested. He nipped just above it playfully. I gasped as Aurelia begged for him to let his fangs dig a little deeper. “Not yet,” I told her.

I pushed Damien back against the plush leather seat, and turned, swinging my leg over his to straddle him. He twisted my hair up into his hand and pulled my mouth to his, hungry. He kissed me deep, his tongue exploring my mouth, while my tongue tangled around his. Our breaths became ragged with desire. I ran my hands down his muscular body and felt him tighten and stiffen between my legs. His free hand ran up my waist, leaving a trail of electricity along my side until he reached my breasts. My nipples hardened at his touch, and he rolled them between his fingers before pulling my hair to arch my back, thrusting my chest into his face.

He kissed my nipple, then tugged it with his teeth. The sensation, somewhere between pain and pleasure, made me moan. His hand groped at the other breast, massaging it in his perfect hands. His cock was rock hard, pushing up under his sweat pants, and instinctively, I began sliding my hips back and forth, my slick pants gliding effortlessly along his length.

I could feel a warmth rising in me as his head rubbed my clit. He let go of my hair, and I placed my hands on his shoulders to continue gyrating and sliding over his bulge. He ran his hands down my waist, under my waistband and began sliding my pants down, revealing the triangle of black hair between my legs.

He pushed his middle finger up, into the wet space and I gave a low moan as my back arched on its own. Pleasure ripped through my body at his touch, the first time I had been touched there by a man. “I am going to enjoy taking that very much,” he whispered in my ear and nipped at my neck as he wiggled his finger deeper.

He pulled his finger out from between my legs then stuck it deep in his mouth to lick off my wetness. My eyes were wide watching him appreciate my taste. He took his finger from his mouth and touched my lips, “Open.”

I parted my pink lips and he slid his finger in my mouth. “Suck.” I lapped his finger with my tongue, pulling it deeper with each suck.

“Mmmm, good girl,” he said for the second time tonight. I felt his cock pushing up, into his pants, and he reached down to my hips. He slid the hand from my mouth to his waist and began sliding down the waistband, revealing his true size. I wanted all of him and Aurelia approved. I slipped my wet and waiting slit along the length of his shaft, without yet penetrating, teasing both of us.

This was it, I wasn’t going to be a virgin any longer. Full moon be damned, I wanted him now. I had found the wolf who I would mark.

Just then a voice came from the front, “Ahem, sir, we are approaching the checkpoint at the human lands.”

“Damnit,” Aurelia sulked, but was immediately distracted by the shimmering wall in front of us.

“Is that the boundary?” I whispered. It was beautiful and scary. I had never crossed into the human lands before and had only ever seen a human a few times in my life. I took a deep breath in as we rolled up to the checkpoint.

Damien “Explain,” both Sargon and I growled at the same time, still glaring at Clarissa, who was more pale than usual. “I was upset,” Katla explained, “And Clarissa saw me sitting over there, crying. It’s just, the weight of everything…” and she started to trail off. “When she was upset, I suggested we go for a walk to help her clear her mind and get some air,” Clarissa picked up for her. “So we walked, and I saw a little wolf with a human—“ Katla was clearly amused by this. “A dog,” Clarissa finished. “We walked to the Roaming Bean. I thought it would be good for her to see other Wolf People, so she wouldn’t feel alone. Only, I didn’t know—“ Katla picked up, “She didn’t know what happened yesterday.” “And you told her while you were there?” I asked. “Yes, because Ronaldo told me about Viti saying I was dead and trying to make others follow Iceclaw. ‘Bend the knee,’ he said. It’s like Viti is trying to

Damien After deflecting Erik’s questioning about the events of the previous evening, we briefly discussed business, confirming a few shipments, and setting up a time for me to come visit my center in their territory. After we ended the meeting, I asked Rolf to follow up with our allies in the South, but to do so carefully, reminding him that the packs needed to believe whatever lie Iceclaw was peddling about Katla’s death. Their lack of technology in the Southern packs was really a hindrance. I walked out looking forward to being punched in the face by a waft of Lavender, Eucalyptus, and imminent snow, but I found that is was dissapating, like it was being siphoned down a drain. I ran up the stairs to the room where she had been, but she wasn’t there. I followed her scent down the hallway past the art that some human interior decorator had hung and down the stairs. I walked past the living room, to the entryway by the elevator. On th

Katla As we walked, I noticed that the city’s endless interlocking roads were organized into large rectangles named by numbers. Roads that ran east to west were even numbers and north to south were odd. Silver Tower was in the very center of the city, “prime real estate” Clarissa explained, and depending on the direction we were from that, a north, south, east, or west was added. “Meant to be Alpha?” Clarissa asked. Humans asked a lot of questions. “Something… happened… when the announcement was meant to be made,” I said, becoming uncomfortable. “Did you realize Damien was your mate and decided to be his Luna instead?” I could tell she was proud of herself using wolf words. “Not exactly,” I said. We rounded a corner and stopped in front of a glass door with a coffee bean fashioned to look like a full moon tucked behind a cloud and the name “The Roaming Bean” above the logo and “Proudly Serving Wolves and Humans for 75 year

Katla I sat on the floor, re-reading my father’s letter, trying to make sense of the words as an anger crept in along the edges of my confusion. How could he have kept this from me? How could he have left me to figure this out on my own? It was all just so unfair. I didn’t ask for any of this. I didn’t ask to be Alpha. I didn’t ask to be married. I didn’t ask to be descended from the Moon Goddess whatever the fuck that meant. And I sure as hell didn’t ask for my father to leave me and my pack to become whatever it is now. I had never felt more alone. Silent tears spilled down my cheeks. I felt a hand on my shoulder. “Katla…er, Miss Iceclaw? Is everything ok?” I looked up through my wet lashes and saw Clarissa. She crouched down, and handed me a tissue. “Do you want to talk about it?” I took the tissue and began wiping my eyes, not sure what I wanted. “Is it Mr. Silverburn? Did he hurt you?” That question shook me back to the present.

Katla My Dearest Daughter, Alpha-in Waiting Katla , From the moment you first opened your eyes beneath the silver glow of the moon, I knew your path would be unlike any other. You were not simply born into this pack—you were chosen by something far older, far greater than any Alpha who has walked these lands before us.As you step forward to claim your place as Alpha, there is a truth I have carried for many years, waiting for the right moment to place it in your hands. You are not only my daughter. You are directly descended from the wolves of lore, the Lycan race, and have been the subject of prophecy for a millennia. In time, you will come to understand what that means and you will come to wield the moonstone that has been passed from mother to daughter, gifted from the Goddess at the beginning of time, lying dormant until the time of prophecy. The strength of the Moon Goddess flows through your veins as surely as your own blood. Th

Katla Hugging my knees, I remembered that just yesterday I had told my father that I needed him and that he would be by my side as I became Alpha. I screamed, throwing anything I could touch. “Fuck Viti! Fuck Viti! Fuck Viti!” I sobbed again, gasping for air and feeling everything tightening around me. I could feel Aurelia growing restless, wanting blood, and I wanted to let her take over, sprint to the Southern border, and mangle Viti’s pathetic, tiny wolf beyond recognition. “Goddess, help me,” I begged. In my heart, I felt a tug, like I was connected to a string. The sensation to follow it grew stronger, and curiosity took over. I needed to know what was on the other end. I stood, wiped my tears on the back of my sleeve, and followed the pull. I silently walked along the white hall lined with paintings that showed an array of shapes and splatters and to the stairs. I supposed this must be human art. The art in the Iceclaw Packhouse was most
