She thinks I'll believe a word she says, well, in her dreams!

As soon as I got out of the room, I met Theo, who was keeping guard by the door.

“And you listen carefully, never should you initiate a conversation with her. For the sake of the child she's carrying, you'll bring her food from the cook I hired, Morning, afternoon, and night. But that's all you will be doing. Am I clear?”

I walked closer to him and looked him in the eyes.

“Theo, I believe you know what it means to get on my nerves. I'm sure you would rather not see me go mad with you.”
