"Being intimate with four alphas was a dream come true." She read the book like it was the very air she was breathing. Curse whoever had suggested this novel to her.
She had a test on Tuesday; she really couldn't focus. ADHD was the worst.
With how terrible her grade had gotten, if she didn't improve soon, her mom would kill her, yet she couldn't stop reading.
She felt every thrust, every kiss, every touch like she was the promiscuous female lead in the novel, and it only made her super interested.
"Control yourself, Dora. You are in the library," she thought to herself, looking everywhere.
It was quiet, dark, and almost deserted. Most werewolves didn't read because they didn't have to, but she did because she had no choice.
Since she was what they called a "wolf-less freak," you'd think the universe would have been merciful enough to make her brilliant.
Her books lay open, diagrams and notes sprawled across the table. She leaned in closer, frowning at the detailed illustration of the werewolf reproductive system.
This was what had actually gotten her curious.
Deceiving herself to read it for a minute before returning her attention back to the novel.
Imagining what the feel of an alpha's big, throbbing, veiny alphahood would be like inside her.
There was nothing to be ashamed of. She was an omega, and having multiple male partners to produce heirs was considered normal. She was, after all, a breeder omega, unless she had a mate.
Mating with a mate was different, and faithfulness was considered very important if they bonded.
She was getting ahead of herself. Someone like her would never have a mate with her weak bloodline.
So she imagined what it would be like and dreamed of what a mate's alphahood would do to her.
The library was mostly empty. No one would see her, right?
She looked around and opened a picture of her crush on her laptop, a book character.
To be honest, he kinda looked like Daniel, the heir to the Crescent Pack, every girl's dream alpha.
This was a bad idea, but she really couldn't help it as she slipped her hands into her jeans.
Music as soothing as the mood seduced her in her headphones. She really shouldn't, but her hands circled around her full chest.
The moment her finger touched her wet, delicate flower and a soft moan escaped her lips, an overly enthusiastic voice boomed, "What the fuck!"
She scrambled to lower the volume of her music, her heart pounding as the sound echoed through the silence.
"Bro, I smell an omega's sweet arousal scent."
She heard someone chuckle, and her cheeks flushed red. She quickly hid under the table. Someone had heard it, much to her embarrassment. She wanted to melt into the ground and disappear.
"Can you see her?"
She quickly turned off her headphones to hear better, making sure this time there'd be no more distractions.
She had said she wanted to be gangbanged by hot alphas, not freaking loser horny werewolves.
But of course, the universe gets it wrong every time. Has the universe ever heard of sarcasm? I literally didn't mean it!
The place was silent. She sniffed to make sure they were gone before releasing a breath she was holding.
She mistakenly clicked the button of her headphones, and her laptop began playing something that turned her face so red she thought she would burn. An ad was playing erotic mating sounds.
"Gotcha!"
A deep voice that made her stomach drop growled and flipped the table off her.
"Daniel," she gasped.
Not just Daniel, but Luke, Austin, and Richard. The four alpha heirs were present.
How on earth did this happen? She gaped in shock.
"Ugh." Daniel made a disgusted sound.
Luke burst out laughing. "OMG, no way. Fat, ugly Dorothy is your mate?"
"Of all the omegas, you are mated to the most useless one?" Austin scoffed. "Why am I not surprised?"
"She is not my mate!" Daniel snapped at them.
Her heart stopped, a sharp pain penetrating her chest in confusion.
What was this?
She winced, clutching her chest. "Mate!" her wolf said, and she looked at Daniel in shock.
"Don't you dare!" he growled in rage. "I forbid you!"
Her eyes stung with tears. This was the first time in her whole life she had ever been this close to Alpha Daniel. This was the first time her heart, her wolf, openly claimed a mate, the first time the universe granted her wish to be bonded to her crush... and he was rejecting her.
"You are hurting the poor she-wolf." Luke stretched out his hand, and she flinched, backing away from his reach. Luke looked very offended.
"No one must find out about this humiliating situation," he snarled. "I refuse to be bonded with her!"
"Then what will you do?" Austin asked, leering at her all this while. Richard barely spoke.
He was the quiet one.
The most dangerous one in the room.
She quickly stood up, gathering her things with teary eyes, humiliation burning in the pit of her stomach.
They whispered among themselves. Her wolf-hearing senses tingled at their conversation.
"I know we were discussing how we wanted to do something adventurous... like purchasing a pet?" Richard said. "How about we make her our little pet?"
The sentence chilled my blood, and before I knew it, I found myself running.
Her life flashed before her eyes.
"Don't run. That's our mate!" her wolf argued.
"Our mate is about to turn me into a slave!" she cried out in horror, definitely regretting her wishes now.
She slammed into a hard wall, looking up to see Daniel looking very displeased.
"The ugly thing doesn't know her place. She dares to run from us."
"Like it's even possible to escape us." Luke pulled her into his embrace.
"You don't realize the position you are in, do you?" Austin stood in front of her, tilting her chin to look at him.
No one could see her in this spot. It was the most secluded area in the library, tucked away behind rows of dusty books that no one bothered to read anymore. She didn't like attention and preferred places where fewer people would notice her, and here was perfect.
Great. Her choices would now be the death of her. The very place she cherished would be her ruin.
"Are you going to act like brutes?" she barked at them.
"Oh, she bites!" Luke chuckled as Austin's thumb trailed over her lips. "I thought she would be boring and submissive. How fun."
"Let go of me! Don't touch me!" she yelled.
"Easy. We are not barbarians. You will submit to us at your own will," Richard said, standing beside a very uninterested Daniel. He hated her the most.
"You are my mate... will you let this happen to me?"
"Never speak such words out of your mouth. I reject you and all that you are. My friends may be interested in playing with you, but I utterly despise fat, talentless, vulgar she-wolves who don't have respect or know their place."
"You reject me?" Tears streamed down her cheek. "I never said I wanted you, you proud bastard!"
"Yes, embarrass yourself like I didn't hear you moan my name."
"You heard that!" she blanched.
"Mark her already, Daniel, or I will," Luke urged him.
She tried to escape his grip. He was stronger than her. With trembling fingers, she bit Luke's hand, and he released her. She kicked Austin in between his legs, and he crumbled in pain.
Bolting in the opposite direction from where Richard and Daniel stood, she ran for her life.
"Hera?" she called her wolf.
"Yes," Hera answered.
"Help me!"
She turned into her wolf form, jumping out of a window, which broke against her fur, running through the night with her backpack around her shoulders.
She pushed herself to go faster, knowing it was her fault for being so careless to be unprotected when she was a powerless omega. Worse, she was fertile for breeding, and they could smell it because she was careless and let her guard down.
Her breath caught, her muscles burning as the night was freezing, but she couldn't linger for a moment longer.
A tiny part of her was excited to be chased by three alphas. In her whole life, she never would have imagined it.
She came to a stop close to her house, a weight in her chest as heavy as the silence surrounding her. She glanced around, half expecting someone to step out from the shadows, but she was alone. Completely, undeniably alone.
She sighed and grinned, panting. She had survived four alpha heirs and escaped them unmarked.
Did that make her special?
Worth something?...
Would her parents be proud of her for once?
She couldn't report the case.
She wouldn't win.
They were from powerful, influential families. Plus, alphas, alpha heirs, or wolves of the alpha bloodline were legally allowed to purchase omegas as pets, as it automatically benefited the omega's family.
While the omega has to live with the stigmatization of being a pet for life.
As she limped into her little family home, she was bleeding.
Voices reached her from the door frame.
"Hera, what's that?" she asked, peering through the slightly opened door to see the four alpha heirs seated with her family in deep discussion.
She watched with a mix of fear and disbelief.
"Oh, Dorothy, you are just on time."
The four of them looked at her in full control, their gaze following her movements in slow, deliberate, calculating, threatening looks masked behind a smile.
Except Daniel, who looked pissed as hell.
Her ears rang, her palms sweating like she was in a horror movie.
"The four alphas want to acquire you as their maiden."
Her father's words made her pulse quicken.
Of course, they would say maiden, not pet, because her parents would be reluctant to give her up as a pet, but as a pure maiden, they would without hesitation.
"No!" she said sternly.
"No?" her mother repeated in shock. "This is a great opportunity for... a maiden, a sacred priestess of the Moon Goddess who serves the alphas and generations to come."
Her eyes stayed fixed on her mother's unwavering gaze as she stumbled towards her.
"Mother, I know I'm not the talented child that you've always wanted. I know you love my sister more than me, and I've never asked you for anything, so please, just do me this one favor... please don't give me to them," I begged in one breath.
"Insolence! You dare to insult me before the alpha heirs?" her father snapped at the top of his voice.
"Father!"
"Shut up! This is the greatest opportunity you will ever get, you useless pup! You are literally at the bottom of your class, and your wolf is the weakest in all the four packs. This is your best shot!"
It was strange, overwhelming, and yet... she couldn't stop. Her veins burned with anger as she clenched her fist, her breath shallow, caught somewhere between curiosity and something she couldn't quite name... rage.
"You will move to the maidens' castle tomorrow. You will continue your normal life there."
This heat, foreign and unrelenting, flooded her with emotions, and tears poured down her cheek as her own father willingly gave her up for slaughter.
Her fingers hovered above the keyboard, but she couldn't bring herself to stop the video.
"Father, no! Choose me." Her sister, Florida, ran into the house.
"I'm worthy of being a maiden, Father. Please."
"You are a talented she-wolf, Florida. You have more shot at becoming a Luna than Dorothy would ever have!"
She flinched at her father's words, and her mother looked away, guilty.
"This is for your own good, Dorothy."
"I freaking hate you!" Florida spat spitefully and stomped up the stairs.
She followed suit in the opposite direction of the stairs, noticing Daniel was now missing among them.
They must be very entertained, seeing how I'm easily sold by my naive family.
Her, a maiden?
She was from a lowly family. They would never make her a maiden... how foolish, she thought to herself, shoulders slumped in defeat as she climbed down a ladder into the attic.
They won.
Without even trying...
They smiled as her family sold her off for nothing. They didn't even say a word; their presence alone was a threat. The delusion of thinking she escaped them...
They let her run, let her hope. They did it just so she would know how worthless she was, but she wouldn't let them break her spirit...
She stood under the shower, her muscles relaxed, her bruises burning. She would survive.
She would become someone unstoppable!
She smiled at her reflection. Just as she turned, she gasped in shock as she ran into Luke.
Her heart racing, her scream stuck in her throat.
"Hush..." he shushed her. He clicked his tongue, showing her her already healing bite mark. "You shouldn't have done this... now I'm going to have to pay you back."
"What are you doing?" she whispered as hands wrapped around her mouth, muffling her screams. Sharp fangs dug into her neck.
He smirked. "Marking what's ours.”
"Who are you?" His eyes narrowed when he realized he could not escape the cloaked person's grip."What is this strength..." He tried to force the cloaked figure off as they lifted the cold end of a gun and placed it on his forehead."What do you want? Is it money? I'll give you anything you want," he bargained."I don't want anything from you... just your life."He got a glimpse of the figure's face and froze."You? How is this possible? You are nothing but a pet!"She cocked her gun."Where is the Moon Orb?"Her voice was different, like a totally different person. His blood ran cold."You are the alpha serial killer. How have you managed to hide among us?""Ah, you are really the smartest among your crew, aren't you? But you haven't answered my question, so perhaps not as smart as they say.""You won't get away with this. I don't know how you got in here, but there are guards everywhere. If anything happens to me, you will be hunted and found." He threatened her, and she tried not t
"I didn't die last night... shit!" she spat immediately after she woke up.To wake up from being a free-willed omega to a pet was a nightmare. She had bite marks all over her body. Richard had bitten her shoulder.Luke had bitten her thigh, Austin had bitten her arm. She groaned, seeing the faint marks that would probably never heal. The bites of four future alphas. She didn't want to go to school today. Her neck was sore from Daniel's bite the most, the mark so visible even her werewolf healing couldn't cover it by morning. She would have to use makeup on her neck. She sighed, feeling something cold trail over her thigh.Flipping the sheets over, a scream of horror left her throat, and she fell off the bed. There was a snake in her bed. The door to her bedroom opened, a wide, excited grin on her face that fell into disappointment."Ugh, you're not dead!" she shrieked in anger, grabbing the snake by the neck."Florida, are you crazy... are you trying to kill me?"Florida closed the di
