Chapter 17

Skye's POV

My eyes slowly fluttered open, and I was blinded by the blaring light of the sun that was peeking through my curtains.

I groaned uncomfortably, and tried to get up, but when I did, I felt a raging bolt of pain in my back and shoulders.

"Hey, don't force yourself to get up yet." A voice came to my side, and it turns out, Alec was here, his hair was messy and it seems like he hasn't slept for days seeing the huge black circles under his eyes.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, but the events that happened that night made it's way in my head like a train wreck suddenly, and my heart beat faster as I hold his his wrist pulling him to me, my eyes pooling with tears.

"Keira! Where's Keira?!" I asked, crying.

But all he gave me was downcasted look, he slowly sat down on the bed, and took my hands with his, and rubbed it gently with his thumbs.

"She's in a critical condition, but she's going to be alright. The pack doctor is already tending to her and checking her every hour." He sai
