Skye's POV

Everyday I would go to Keira's side and tell her all about my day.

Her wounds were almost healed, so they took of the bandages, but she was still not waking up.

I didn't have the courage to face Nathan, so every single time I smell his scent on his way here, I would instantly flee so that I won't bump into him.

But since it was thursday, and he had school, I stayed with Keira longer today, and when I looked at the clock, seeing that it was almost 5:00 o'clock.

I got up and mumbled a goodbye at Keira. But like every time, she wouldn't respond to me. Just the sound of the monitors beeping. And her eyes, her vibrant eyes were still closed, as her face remained peacefully asleep.
