The Alpha's property

Nina's POV.

"You stupid mutt!" The Beta shouted at me when he spotted me sneaking my way in. Damn Jason, he did not bother to tell me that the beta would be loitering the hallways.

"I am not stupid," I retorted back, while glaring at him. I know he hates it when people talk back, but I simply can't help it, I was naturally deviant.

"You have been warned to not come inside the pack house, it is not for the likes of you," he complained like he always did every single time. Does that stop me from going in again? No! Not! Never!. I smirked internally

"What do you mean the likes of me? I am a wolf too, like you and the Alpha and other wolves that lives in this pack house,so why am I not allowed?" I questioned him while raising my voice a bit. I could see from the corner of my eyes that Micheal was shaking his head at me, probably to warn me to stop talking back to the Beta, but I could not help it.

Smack.

That was the next thing I heard. Beta Devon's thick palm against my soft cheeks, it hurts, but I was used to it. He always gets physical when things does not go his way. Then the bearing started, I shielded my face as best as I could and took all the beating.

"You are not to ever speak back to me, look in my direction or even enter this pack house ever again, is thaf understood?" He asked after he got fired of beating me.

"Yes, Beta", my Omega whimpered and I hated that she could cower at little beating.

It was not like I hated being an Omega wolf, I simply do not like the way they treat us, and I wanted to do everything I could to change that, even if it means taking a few beating.

"Are you okay, Nina?" My friend Blossom rushed to my side, the moment Beta I-am-always-angry-and-I-want-to-beat-you-up left.

"I am okay, B, what's a little beating?" I wiped my eyes. She was about to lift me up when her mother called out.

"Blossom, please tell me you are not about to touch the Omega?" Her mother, who also happens to hate me spoke all of a sudden.

"Mother, she is my friend and she has a name, you know that," Blossom said with a sigh. She lend me a hand as I limped my way towards the pack doctor.

"I seriously don't want you near the Omega, you might catch whatever disease she has and I don't won't that for you," Blossom's Mom said in my direction with so much disgust lacing her tone.

"Don't worry, Mrs Perry, I won't infect your daughter with my Omega disease", I told her and she snared my way before turning back in the direction of the kitchen.

"You really do need to be careful, Nina, the beta is always angry, you know that, you should not provoke him, he might beat you too much one day," My friend said

" Don't worry, Blossom, I am not going anywhere, I plan to stick around until someone around here listen to my voice of reason," I assured her with a pat on her hand. We reached the pack doctor in no time.

"I wish I could seal your mouth off so that you don't provoke the beta each time that would lead to beating," Micheal complained, the moment he saw the state I was in.

"Hello, Doctor Micheal, it's good to know you and Blossom reason the same way," I teased him and chuckled at his words. "If only everyone would listen to me, maybe it would be much easier", I sighed.

The nice doctor attended to me and treated all of my injured body part.

"Here, I brought you something to eat," Blossom walked back into the room with arm full of food. I salivated at the sight.

"Thank you B, but can I get some for Isaac too?" I questioned

" Of course, there is little Issac, I will be back", she rushed out after dropping my food.

"How is little Issac sound?" Doctor Micheal asked.

"He is doing well, still scared to come out," he had been bullied at the age of 11, because he had the physique of an eight years old, the Beta wolves in the pack thought it would be a great idea to gang up and beat him up. He was traumatized with the experience and would never come of of the basement with me no matter how much persuasive I am.

"Hmm, and how is your heat cycle?" The nice doctor inquired

"No pain so far, we make sure to use our suppressants on time and rest a lot", as much as I hated being an Omega, I would never joke with taking care of myself.

The only thing I hated about being an Omega was the fact that we are viewed as the weakest of all wolves, we were treated like dirt and no one ever want to be our friend, I was only lucky to get to be friends with wolves like Blossom and Jason.

They are nice enough.

"Here you go," Blossom came back in with food inside a container for Isaac.

"Thank you," I said to her and moved to leave the bed and head back to the basement, Isaac would be worried.

"Learn from today, Nina, stop getting in trouble and lay low, okay?" Micheal adviced with a soft smile and I nodded, giving Blossom a quick hug before disappearing to the basement.

"Nina! You're back, I was starting to get worried, did you get caught again? Did you bring food? I am hungry, what is happening up there?," I was attacked by Isaac the moment I stepped into the basement. He may seem shy to an outsider, but when it was just the two of us, he becomes a talkative.

"Calm down, boy, I am here now and that is all that matters, yes I brought food and nothing interesting is going on up there, they are still as boring as they were before, did I answer all of your questions?" I replied while handling him the food in the container.

"Oh, okay, thanks for the food," he answered and happily skipped to his part of the basement.

"Don't thank me, thank Blossom the next time you see her, okay?" I told him and he nodded. Blossom often sneak into the basement with food stolen to feed us, Isaac is spectacularly fond of her because she cares for him like a big sister would a little brother.

Between us three, we were a little family.
