Khaleesi's pov;

Each time I woke up to seeing the roofing above me, I always had to remind myself of the goal I had in mind- one, was not to fall for anyone again and the second was to bring back my pack's name. So far, the journey had been pretty chaotic from how Aodhàn had been watching my every move like a hawk.

I couldn't blame him for not trusting me that much but it was safe to say or more like from the way he treated me, he still had a bit of trust for me.

Well, this was a good start to say the least judging from how we've only just met.

What was I to do today? Nothing in particular since it more or less involved me still in the Bloodmoon pack.

I was glad Aodhàn had kept true to his words, allowing my pack to borrow his power which was the reason why we still remained standing.

Thinking of the fact that we were still depending on someone else's power was enough motivation I needed to get me standing from the bed.

Now, it was high time I contacted Alaric and

  • The Alpha's Poisoned Mate   Khal

    Khaleesi's pov; I'll let you know this while I cover my eyes in shame and tell you that, I did sleep; peacefully at that, in the arms of the man I swore I wasn't going to close my eyes in. Shame washed over me and I was glad to see I was the only one in the room, left to bask in the huge shame I cast upon myself. "I feel so stupid!" I said loud enough in my palms while considering numerous excuses I could come up with if he dared to mock me for falling asleep. First time in his home and yet, I had slept like I had nothing to worry about; not even the growth of my pack. Sighing, I fell flat back on the bed, moving my hands away from my face and wondering how I fell asleep. Did he drug me? Nah, of course not. It had been all me and I knew it. I sighed for what was the tenth time that morning, enjoying the view that came along with having the bed closer to the window. The sky wasn't as dark as it had been weeks away. It was like telling me that my days of crying

  • The Alpha's Poisoned Mate   Tick tick

    Khaleesi's pov; "Do you need a few of my warriors to go with you?" With his eyes on me, a knowing look in them, like he was staring at someone far beneath him, Aodhàn inquired. With only anger and vengeance as my aim, watching him was like watching a fly buzz noisily around me and refusing to stop. Each second, I only got more irritated and there was the intense urge to rise and beat him to a pulp as I was starting to imagine. Nothing about his stance made me feel touched or even that he seemed to care. To me, it was as if he was only doing this for certain reasons - possibly to feel he had more power over me but my pride would never let me. "Keep them for yourself. They'd do much better than they will on the battle ground," I wasn't supposed to sound as sassy as that but it couldn't be helped. Moreover, there wasn't a part of me that agreed to anything that came out of Aodhàn's mouth. "Look, I only came here to let you know about where I'd be for the next few

  • The Alpha's Poisoned Mate   Temperament

    Khaleesi's POV; Words and threats to an Alpha about his pack should have done the trick in angering Aodhàn, but instead, his eyes remained on me, smiling in fact and acting like none of this just happened. Aside from being daring, was he also as unbothered to this point? Like a predator, he watched me, gently lifting the glass of bourbon to his lips, sipping gently while maintaining eye contact with me. Was this man okay? Was he supposed to be acting like this? Gently, he placed his glass back on the table, in front of one of the pack members who was supposed to seem like a bartender only that this time, it wasn't in a bar but a more open space. Just when I thought that would supposedly be the end of his bizarre behaviours, he suddenly let out a deep chuckle. One that sounded like he was trying so hard to maintain his poise and at the same time, sounding utterly amused. "A toddler?" he asked, finally speaking and giving me a bit of ease for just a second. • The Alpha's Poisoned Mate   Mankind

    Khaleesi's POV;It was one thing for my breath to cease in my throat at first, and then, it was another thing that I failed to have noticed the daring Alpha even before he approached me. Had Yenna known about this? Had she chosen to lie about this intentionally? There was a huge possibility that she could have done this and I let my eyes drift across to her, taking in how she looked. And of course, I was right. Yenna blinked at me first, maintaiing eye contact but there was a part of me that seeemed to be telling me she was only faking it. I didn't want to believ it seeing how confident she looked but I just couldn't take my eyes off her. This went on for a few seconds until finally, she blinked, breaking off our eye contact and staring at somewhere else. I wouldn't have thought more into the issue if only she didn't turn to sneak a look at me again, as if making me aware of what exactly she had done. Was this a taunt? "You do realize I'm right here, don't you?" I could almost make
