Chapter 26
The werewolf takes me into an embrace, which somehow seems gentler. His crushing embrace doesn't hurt like it sometimes does; only comforts me. Sparks of warmth erupt, and suddenly I feel safer than ever. Is this what a real hug is supposed to feel like...? ?
I unconsciously close my eyes, swept away by his obvious devotion. Usually I would feel angry at his easily displayed desire, but now I don't care.
