When Jasper’s father told the whole pack I was wolfless I almost lost control of my wolf. Hazel was such a strong wolf and she hated the idea of anyone thinking of us as weak. She wanted to take over my body and show everyone exactly how strong we really were. I wasn’t used to controlling my wolf yet and had to use all of my energy to keep Hazel from pushing her way forward. That meant I didn’t have any energy left to argue against what Jasper’s father was saying about me. Perhaps that was what he was relying on when he came up with this plan.
