More than an hour

The bath was more than relaxing, Isabella couldn't deny it.

She could picture herself dozing off the moment her body touched the bed.

On a normal night like this, in the apartment she managed with Iora, she would have turned on a lamp and spread herself on the bed with a book in her hands, and read late into the night.

Books were like hot coals to her. The more she read, the more she blew on the flame, turning it into a mighty fire.

She made a mental note to ask if there was any Librarl around in the pack. She could only hope, because a pack so big ought to have something as basic as a library.

She had turned the couch to face the window and was seated on it, enjoying the view from where she sat. The Alpha's window was just some meters away from hers. If he wasn't asleep, she knew he might also be looking out, staring at the beauty of the pack at night.
