"How have you been? Have you been well? Did you have any troubles? Are you okay where you are? Do you need anything? Tell me if there's something you need, okay? Do you like that place-"

The questions only kept pouring in as she tried to make up for times we've spent apart.

Hearing her voice again was stringing up so many emotions from me. I didn't really give it two thoughts when I decided to run away, did I? How could I have left behind a woman who loved me so dearly as though I were her own daughter?

Aunt Teresa still sounded the same like five years ago. I wondered if time and age had spared her thanks to all her goodness and her kind heart. She must be ageing like fine wine, she deserves no less for a woman with such a beautiful heart.
