KARSON'S POV

He was standing too close. The damned Alpha who approached her with his pheromones hanging off him like a jacket, was simply standing too close.

It was a good thing she was wolfless. She would've been on her knees from that much pheromone.

I could hardly contain the irritation rising inside of me even when her stare and her face said she had things under control, she didn't.

It was about to get a whole lot worse. I had to step in. At first, I thought I never wanted her to draw any attention to us knowing each other outside these walls but I found myself breaking my own rules.
