**Estelle's POV**

My eyes lit up when I saw him coming home. It felt like a thousand years without seeing him. There were so many things I wanted to tell him, including the abomination Scarlett had done to me! He had to know about it so she could get a little lesson.

I didn't care if she was the doctor he was very close to! Because she was a criminal, a witch!

“Alpha!” The Omegas who saw his presence greeted him kindly. One of them opened the car when I was sure it wasn't necessary. He was an independent Alpha! That kind of treatment irritated him and I could see it on his face.

"You don't have to open it for me!" he said. His voice sounded heavy, like someone tired. Did something bad happen today?

I heard he went to my pack to meet Alpha Kenneth. Some of the Omegas said that he had come to fight him for power. Some of them said he wanted revenge because of the poisoned wine. But from all the news I heard, I was not sure which one was true.

I was sure he was looking for me when he saw
