Daunte's POV

I told Dominic to attend Alpha Markus's meeting in my place. I knew Hector wasn't interested in going and didn't want to do business with the Crestview Pack.

Since I trusted Dominic with all my business dealings, I knew he would be able to handle a small meeting.

(Flashback)

Knock, knock.

"Come in," I said.

I was busy going over the documents Katia had sent over when Dominic walked in.

"Logan said you were looking for me," Dominic said as he sat in the chair in front of my desk.

Alessia’s POV“Adrian, look out!” my mom yelled as she turned the wheel and was thrown from the vehicle.“MOMMY!” I yelled as I jolted straight up.Glancing around, I realized I was seated on the bare floor. I remembered walking back from the packhouse and feeling like I was being watched. I must have fallen asleep on the floor after lighting the candles.Standing to my feet, I felt a chill run down my spine. I glanced out the living room window. The dark night sky offered no comfort, almost as if it had turned its back on me. The Wolf’s Moon was upon us, but even its light seemed to be casting me aside.I closed my eyes and let out a deep sigh.“Mom, Dad, Goddess, I miss you both,” I whispered.“Oh, I am sure they don’t miss you, little orphan,” Jared said from behind me.I quickly turned to see him standing ten feet away from me.“W-what are you doing here?” I asked, my voice trembling. He laughed. “I’m here to make sure you don’t get into any more trouble. You know, like earlier to

Daunte’s POVI tossed and turned throughout the night. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw her face. There was something about her, something that captivated me. I knew I had to see her again. I had to know her name and find out who she was.And then there was Alessia. That name drew me in as well. Something about it made me want to know more about the person behind it."This is fucking bullshit," I growled as I sat up in bed.The lack of sleep had worn me out, and Romo wasn't helping. When he was tired, he could be a handful.Shaking my head, I slid off the bed and made my way to the window. I stared out into the night sky. The Wolf's Moon was upon us, something sacred to all wolves. Every pack celebrated it in its own way.The Wolf's Moon was the first full moon to rise. Packs could reflect deeply on themselves during this time. An unseen connection existed between Alphas and their packs during the Wolf's Moon. Although Alphas were already connected to their pack members, the Wolf's

You mean toothpaste?" he replied."What?" I asked, looking up from my screen."Who the fuck is Colgate?" Dominic asked, chuckling.I shook my head and replied, "You know what the fuck I mean, bro."Dominic burst into laughter."You must really dislike Alpha Markus to talk shit about his pack's name," he said.I looked at Dominic and cocked a brow."You're right.

Alessia’s POVI was filled with dread as I walked back to the pack house with Jackie. I wanted to crawl into the earth's core rather than go back. The thought of having to serve Jared or anyone else made my skin crawl. After losing my wolf, I no longer healed as quickly. I had been ordered to take antibiotics and pain medication. The medicine made me tired, but since I was going to be working, I didn't take anything. The pain I felt from being kicked and beaten was unbearable. As I walked into the pack house, I heard the sounds of laughter coming from the living room. Jackie and I quietly made our way to the kitchen. An eerie familiarity settled over me as I stepped inside and stood in the spot where Jared had rejected me.I felt an icy chill run down my spine as I closed my eyes and took a deep breath."Are you alright?" Jackie asked."Yeah, I'm just a bit tired, that's all," I replied as I headed toward the pantry and grabbed an apron. As much as I didn't want to be there, I decided

Maliyla’s POVThe tingles his touch sent through my body awakened every fiber within me. The touch of his hand was gentle, and the tone of his voice was soothing. Immediately, I felt myself melting into him. Feeling his warmth and protection made me want to stay in his embrace forever. The feeling of homeliness was overwhelming to me. Leaving was no longer an option.Opening my eyes, I realized those weren't my thoughts, and my mind was suddenly a blur. After pulling away from Hector's embrace, I scooted to the edge of the bed and winced as the pain from the rogue attack struck me.Hector ran over to assist me, and I winced again."What are you doing?" Hector whispered.I shook my head and mumbled, "I can't stay here. I need to leave."As I stood up, he grabbed my arm and asked, "Please, just tell me what's wrong."Looking into his eyes, I answered, "I'm sorry, I can't."A part of me wanted to get away from him, but his hold on me was intense. While holding my arm, Hector asked, "Wher

  • The Alpha’s Rejected Omega    Chapter 6

Maliyla's POVHoly shit, I thought, repeating his words in my head.Of all the packs I could have landed in, I had ended up in the one ruled by an Alpha nobody knew anything about. As I stared at him, I wondered what he was thinking, yet I couldn't help admiring his devilishly handsome looks. I found something intriguing about him, from the scars on his arms to his blue eyes. His expression was unreadable, but something about him drew me in, and I couldn't look away. I felt my heart racing and my palms sweating as he stared back at me.A smirk spread across his face as he approached the bed. He sat just inches away from me when Jeanie, the housemaid I'd seen earlier, appeared.I watched as Jeanie handed Hector a tray."Are you hungry?" Hector asked.Nodding in response, I watched as Hector placed the tray between us and lifted the silver cover to reveal a selection of exotic fruits, cheeses, eggs, bacon, and a steaming cup of coffee."Eat," Hector muttered, offering me some fruit.Wit
