Chapter 16

Rick sat with the King in his study room. They had been talking for a while. The issue of the rogues was still the topic of the day and they were trying to figure out a way to deal with them once and for all. They had so many problems on hand and the rogues trying to be an urgent one were what they had been trying to solve for hours.

‘’Honestly My King, these rogues are extremely dangerous. We defeating them was just a tip of the iceberg. We don’t know what they have planned and when they would strike again. Just like what happened earlier. We were caught unaware.’’ Rick poured out everything on his mind.

Kellan bobbed his head.

‘’In what ways do you think we could curb or handle them?’’ The King asked once more. He was seeking to get Rick’s opinions.

"Perhaps, we should mount more guards to be on the lookout for them. And the next time any of them gets caught, they shouldn't be killed. Instead, they'd be brought in for questionings and made to reveal their hideout."
