Chapter 7: Pain

Anastasia's POV

I suddenly felt pain when the Alpha asked for an apology. He's calling me earlier, Anastasia, and yet, he retrieved his words. The Alpha thought that I'm Bella. I wanted to talk to him about that, but my body was still so tired from what we did. My eyes shut and the next thing I know, I have already fallen into a deep sleep.

The next morning, I suddenly woke up when I remember what happened last night. Alpha Connor was still next to me, unconscious. I messed my hair when I realized something.

“This man was my mate! Now it explained why I felt werewolves' rutting also last night!?” I mumbled to myself while my heart still pounding so fast inside my chest. Fear is what I felt, and I had to get out of here as soon as possible. This truth was so absurd, and I have to get out from here. I rushed from wearing back my clothes and immediately walked away from the room, leaving the Alpha alone in the bed.
