I was surprised that Ava had led me away from the celebration, but I certainly wasn’t arguing. She was finally giving in to me, and I knew it. I grew hard just thinking about what we were about to do.

But outside our guest house, I paused. I wanted this to be special for her, memorable, and as much as I wanted to throw her down on the bed and make love to her immediately, I had a different idea.
