Nate’s POV

Two weeks later, I heard a commotion in the female quarters of the maid and sent for the ones causing the commotion. It turned out to be Elena and the head maid, Laura.

“She is pregnant Alpha.”

I knew this would happen although I cannot trust anything that stemmed from Hannah’s deception. I still wondered how she could do that to me but we are done with that now. Layla stood beside me as we heard what the miss said and sent them away except for the girl Elena.

“Whose is it?”

“It is yours, Alpha.”

She said in a low voice and Layla rolled her eyes.

“Go.” Layla said and the girl hurried away. “There is nothing we can do, we cannot tell her to abort the child yet we have to keep this from going to unnecessary places and I still hate the fact that that crazy human being returns today.” She walked away angrily but as she reached the door, she wobbled and I rushed to her.

“Are you okay?”

And that was when I heard it, I looked at her in disbelief, I cannot believe this.
