Days passed by and each day, Simon found a way to make the shed a little more habitable. He finally found a source of water, looked for a large water container, found us a place to cook food, and lots of things. We finally had a small bath house just behind the shed, and we were finally warming up to living together.

He sometimes had to sneak back to the pack just to let his phone charge, but I felt like it was mostly because we still needed a lot of things to actually be fine.

Six days has already passed by ever since the news of Austin's marriage came. At first, I tried not to let Simon know just how shaken I was by it, but now that I sat on the hay bed, alone, watching the door and expecting Simon back from getting water, I knew I was wrong.
