Chapter Nine

~A Few Days Later~

Why did I have a feeling something bad was going to happen today? But then again, what could be worst than the pain I felt for up to three days straight?. It wasn't even my period because it already came earlier in the month. I was even more confused about what Clyde had said. What did the Alpha have to do with this? I've been on the edge just by that statement alone. He refused to tell me what I needed to know for whatever reason.

Back at Grandma's I spent all those three days in bed wondering when the pain was going to end. It eventually stopped late Saturday night but I still felt uneasy. Clyde barely spoke to me those times and to be honest that didn't bother me at all. If he didn't want to tell me what I needed to know it made no sense he exchanged words with me.
