LOGIN"See me in the same spot."
Brienne bit her bottom lip and put her phone back in her bag. When the taxi stopped at the building, she got out and looked around. Brienne ran to the second entrance, which employees rarely used due to its location, making sure no one she knew was close.
Once inside the building, Brienne immediately saw Raven leaning against the wall, watching something on his phone. Her heart skipped a beat when Raven looked in her direction and smiled.
"Hi," Raven said, walking towards her and placing his hand on her waist.
"Hi," Brienne said. "Have you been here for a while?" she added.
"Not really. May I kiss you?" Raven asked, leaning forward. Brienne looked into his eyes, feeling her soul being drawn in as she nodded yes. Raven cupped her face and kissed her on the lips. This setup had been going on for a week. Raven would visit the building to see Brienne. She could have stopped it, but she didn’t, and she didn’t know why. Despite Janice clearly telling her to stay away from him, Brienne had been spending time with Raven for a week.
"R-Raven..." she said, gently pushing him back. Raven kissed her jaw, then moved down to her neck.
"Good morning, gorgeous," Raven said with a smile.
"Hmm, what's your reason for coming today?" Brienne inquired, causing Raven to laugh.
"Of course, business," Raven replied. "I'm going to sign contracts today," he added, letting Brienne go.
"I'm not making this one up, I promise," he said cheekily. Brienne sighed and instinctively fixed Raven's tie, just as she used to do with Jasper when they were still together. Raven watched her intently.
"T-There," she stuttered, stepping back.
"Thank you, baby," Raven said.
"I will go first; I'll be late for work," Brienne replied, glancing at her watch to hide her blushing cheeks.
"See you later?" Raven asked. Brienne looked at him.
"I'll try," she said, walking away and leaving Raven on his own. Brienne headed to the elevator, pushed the button for her department, and sneaked in without anyone noticing, except for Janice, who knew her circumstances.
"I see you," Janice said, handing her the documents. Brienne smiled sheepishly, making Janice sigh.
"Just be safe, okay? If he tries something funny, tell me—I’ll fight him," Janice said bravely, showing her fist. Brienne chuckled and shook her head.
"Thanks, Nice," Brienne replied, knowing she could count on Janice no matter what.
Brienne started working on the financial statements she’d been given when her phone beeped. She paused her typing and picked up her phone.
"Let's go to the café across the street. My treat."
Brienne smiled and typed her reply.
"It wouldn't hurt to go with him, right? He's been nothing but kind these past few days," she whispered. There was something about Raven that she just couldn't seem to avoid. After sending her reply, Brienne went back to work.
When lunchtime arrived, Brienne snuck out of her department and took the elevator to the ground floor. When she reached the spot where they kept meeting, Raven was already waiting for her.
"Hi, ready to go?" He took her bag, held her arm, and made her heart race.
Raven opened the door for Brienne, letting her enter first before following behind her. They sat in a corner of the café.
"What would you like to order? I’ll get it for you so you don’t have to stand up," Raven asked with a smile. Brienne was about to respond when a voice interrupted her.
"Bree? What the f*ck? Who is this motherf*cker?!" Jasper shouted angrily, drawing unwanted attention.
"Jasper, please, not here," Brienne said, clenching her hand into a fist.
"Who is he?" Raven asked, glaring at Jasper.
"What? You broke up with me and immediately found someone to replace me? It's only been a month, Brienne!" Jasper yelled. The murmurs and whispers from the people in the café made Brienne tremble. She hated it—hated that Jasper was blaming her for the breakup when he was the one who cheated on her.
"Jasper, please. Can we talk outside?" Brienne pleaded softly, holding back her tears.
"No, Brienne. I want this man to know you're a f*cking whore. You dirty woman," Jasper spat.
"You cheated on me and insulted me! What do you expect me to do? Forgive you that easily?" Brienne yelled. Jasper was about to argue back, but a punch suddenly landed on his face.
"Don't you f*cking dare talk to my woman like that, you piece of sh*t," Raven said angrily, his eyes glaring at Jasper, chest heaving, and fist clenched. Brienne immediately stood up and tried to stop Raven.
"Raven!" she exclaimed.
"You f*cking b*stard barged into our space and insulted my woman. Do you have a f*cking death wish?!" Raven growled and kicked Jasper in the stomach, causing him to start coughing while holding his stomach.
"Sir!"
"Raven!"
The café security intervened, stopping Raven from further assaulting Jasper.
"Please, Raven, let's just go," Brienne whispered, tears streaming down her face. Raven's eyes softened and pulled Brienne closer to him.
"If I see you approach my woman one more time, I'm warning you—it won't end well," he said, handing a business card to the security.
"Here's my card. Let me know the amount I need to compensate, but make sure to ban this man who started all of this," he added before walking out of the café with Brienne.
They got into the car, and Raven handed Brienne a tissue box.
"I'm sorry our lunch was ruined," Raven said. "I should have taken you somewhere else."
"It wasn't your fault," Brienne replied, wiping her tears.
"That bastard was your ex, right? What's his full name?" Raven asked. Just thinking about the man made his blood boil. He wouldn’t let this slide. No one was allowed to treat Brienne that way.
"Why? Why do you want his name?" Brienne asked. "Please, don't. I don’t know what you’re planning, but don’t do it. I don't want any connection to that man," she added. Raven gripped the steering wheel tightly.
"Okay, let's forget about him and get on with our lunch," Raven said, forcing a smile. "What do you want to eat?" he asked.
"I'm suddenly craving noodles. Can we get that?" Brienne said, looking at him with puppy eyes. Raven cupped her face and planted a kiss on her nose.
"Of course, anything for you, princess," he said, then drove away. Brienne placed her hand on her chest as her heart beat erratically. What was she feeling?
”I can’t believe they’re turning one tomorrow! It’s too fast!” Ravena said as she played with the twins, making them giggle.”Right? I can’t believe it,” Carter agreed, watching them crawl around.Raven walked in with a tired look on his face and raised an eyebrow at the two of them.”What are you two doing here?” he asked. He had been tasked with watching the twins while Brienne and Raeya went out to shop for their birthday.”Uhm, helping you?” Carter said innocently. ”Because you look like you’d die in a minute,” he added, making Ravena laugh out loud. Her laugh was so loud it startled the twins, who both looked up in surprise before pouting.”Sis, that was an exaggerated laugh,” Raven said, glaring at her.”Carter’s not wrong, though,” Ravena said, still smiling.Raven shot them both another glare before sighing.”Where are Mom and Dad?” he asked.”They followed Brienne and Raeya,” Ravena replied. ”They said it was a bonding moment,” she added.Raven nodded slowly and turned his at
Ravena sank her claws into the last rogue and twisted, ending the fight in one final motion. The body went still beneath her. She stepped back and spat the thick taste of blood from her mouth, shaking her head as she caught her breath. Before the forest could fully settle, Arthur’s voice rang out through the pack link, strong and clear.”Brienne has given birth to the twins!”For a heartbeat, there was silence. Then, one by one, the warriors lifted their heads and howled. The sound rolled through the trees—loud, proud, full of joy. It was a howl of victory, of life, of the birth of the Alpha’s children. Even those still catching their breath joined in, acknowledging the arrival of the future of the pack.Ravena’s eyes widened, shock and happiness crashing into her all at once.”I have nephews!” she exclaimed through the link, her voice bright with disbelief and joy.Arthur allowed the howls to continue for a moment before lifting his head again, his tone shifting back to command.”Tha
Brienne felt another strong tug in her tummy. She was almost due now, and Sam had been on standby since morning.”Okay, sis, we’re together again for your second time,” Ravena said with a small chuckle, trying to sound calm.Brienne smiled, but it quickly turned into a grimace as the twins kicked nonstop inside her.”But this time, I’m more nervous,” Ravena admitted as she clasped her hands together. ”You’re delivering my nephews, and I’m more scared than you are,” she added.”I applaud mothers,” Ravena whispered.Brienne took a deep breath and looked at her. ”I’m scared too,” she admitted softly. ”But I have to be brave—for my boys,” she added.Another sharp tug hit her belly. Brienne gasped and grabbed the edge of the bed. Then she felt it—warm and sudden. She looked down as water spilled onto the tiled floor.”It’s happening, right?” Ravena asked, her eyes wide as she stared at the floor. Brienne nodded slowly, her heart racing.”Yes,” she said.”Oh my gods, oh my gods,” Raven said
Brienne woke up with a heavy feeling in her body. She carefully shifted her position and slowly sat up on the bed. Her back ached, and her stomach felt tight. She rubbed her belly gently as she looked around the room.On the small table beside the bed was a tray of food. A folded note lay next to it. Brienne picked it up and smiled.“Out for patrol, darling. I’ll be back.”— RavenShe placed the note down and sighed softly, reaching for the food. Before she could stand, the door suddenly opened.Raven stepped inside, his armor already removed, his hair slightly messy from the wind.“I came back early,” he said with a smile. Brienne looked up, surprised. “You did? How was the patrol?” she asked. He walked to her at once and leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to her lips, then another to her forehead.“It’s fine. Nothing unusual in sight. Though Carter said there have been rogue sightings near the pack. How are you feeling?” he asked.“Heavy,” she answered honestly. Raven nodded and h
“Are you ready to find out the baby’s gender?” Ravena asked as she guided Brienne toward the venue.Brienne chuckled, one hand instinctively going to her growing belly.“Honestly, sis, anything is fine with me—as long as my baby is healthy and safe.”“Aww, that’s so sweet,” Ravena said with a smile. “But my bet’s on a boy,” she added. Brienne laughed softly. “How much?” she asked. Ravena grinned and leaned closer. “One thousand dollars,” she said with a wink. “Carter’s betting it’s a girl,” she added.Brienne shook her head, still smiling, as they stepped inside. Her eyes immediately searched the room, and her heart thumped when she spotted her husband standing nearby with their daughter.“I’ll go check the food,” Ravena said, quietly walking away and giving the family space to enjoy their moment before the party began.Raven lifted his head, and his eyes met his wife’s. Without hesitation, he picked up Raeya and walked toward her.“My stunning wife, I missed you,” Raven said warmly
Brienne stood in the bathroom, tapping her foot against the floor as she anxiously waited for the result of the pregnancy test in her hand. Each passing second felt like an eternity. It had been two years since their wedding, and Raven was just as loving as ever. Their life together had been filled with joy, and they had even spent two wonderful months in Barbados after their marriage. Now, with Raeya already five years old, Brienne longed for another baby to complete their growing family."Please, she whispered, gripping the test tightly. She had been hoping for this moment, and now, all she could do was wait.Brienne's eyes filled with tears as she stared at the two clear lines on the test—positive. She was pregnant! A wave of emotions rushed over her, joy mixing with relief. No wonder she had been feeling extra moody these past few weeks. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. Carefully, she placed the pregnancy test back in its box and wiped the tears from her face. She
Brienne finished packing her belongings and sat down, waiting patiently for Raven to return. After a moment, she stepped out of Janice's room and saw Janice busy cooking in the kitchen. Unable to hold back her gratitude, Brienne walked over and hugged her friend from behind."Thank you for everythi
Derrick slammed the door open, his expression tense, and found his son, Jasper, lounging on the couch with a game controller in hand."Jasper," he called, but his son was too absorbed in his game to respond. Frustrated, Derrick walked over to the TV and turned it off."What the hell?!" Jasper yelle
Raven pressed the doorbell, and after a moment, Brienne opened the door. She stood there with a soft smile, her hand resting on her belly."Good morning, darling," Raven greeted warmly, holding out a vibrant bouquet of flowers. Brienne frowned, scrunching her nose and stepping back."Get that away
Cecil sat on the couch, scrolling absentmindedly through the photo album. Her eyes lingered on each picture, though her mind was elsewhere. When Arthur walked into the living room, he immediately noticed the distant look on her face. Concerned, he sat down beside her."What’s on your mind, hon?" he
