Chp 3 Pt. 5 Darkness Is Creeping In

As soon as class is over I shift and rush to her house. Shaun is on duty today and he is already waiting for me. We sit and watch my mate cook dinner as she is swaying to whatever music she is listening to. She really caters to her father, plating his food for him and setting it at the table with a beer waiting. She removes her earbuds and makes her own plate. She sits down and is patiently waiting for her father.

At first I smell nothing besides her beautiful scent but out of no where that damp pungent smell hits me and I see her father slamming the front door. Where in the world did he come from?

“No car arrived Nico. He appeared out of thin air.”

“I know Shaun. He is a warlock, I am sure of it.”

We watch helplessly as Ahsoka is being beaten by her father. It takes everything in me to no rush in there and put a stop to this.
