Trixie's point of view

We ate dinner with the pack or should I say we were just finishing up dinner when Trevor stopped any members from leaving stating that he had an announcement.

"We had an unexpected battle today. Victory did not come without a price. A few injuries some of you will shake off in the next day or two. We had one loss that we won't be able to shake off. I will visit the family tomorrow whom was excused from tonight's dinner. " Everyone looked around and nodded. "We will double patrols moving forward. Training times will be doubled as well. In future battles will not be won at such a low cost. The rogues today were not trained and inexperienced. How will we hold us against rogues who have been trained? Against rogues who have experience in battle?" Trevor paused and looked around. All the warrior's face read this as a challenge. You could tell they would follow these orders without hesitation. Not only for the safety of the pack but because they wanted to be the best

    Thomas sat stiffly in the high-backed chair tucked into the quiet corner of the library at the Blood Moon pack house. Floor-to-ceiling windows cast filtered light across the richly stained bookshelves, the scent of old leather and paper mingling with the faint aroma of cedarwood. Across from him, seated with a notepad resting gently on one knee, was Dr. Hayes, a calm, middle-aged woman with intelligent gray eyes behind silver-rimmed glasses."Thomas, let's start simple today," she said gently, her voice like a soft breeze.
