Trixie's point of view I could see wolfs running about in the woods. They stunk. They were rogues. Kill them all but bring the leader back to the pack house. The Alpha's orders demanded through the pack mind link. It was Trevor's voice. There was howling and snarling. They were at the border of our the pack land on the south side away from the city. They attacked us from the flank. The wolf's point of view I was in ran by a bloody and smell corpse of a rogue. At least we are winning. This wolf thought. That's when a brindle rogue wolf barreled into him from the side. I could feel his ribs breaking and I knew a was gasping for air. The wolf's mind didn't hesitate, he turned on the brindle wolf snarling and was out for blood. His anger was red hot fueled by his own pain. He turned the brindle wolf which gave him the prefect kill zone view. He went for it, sinking his teeth into the brindle rogue wolfs neck. The brindle wolf tried to turn, tried to throw him off but it was no prevail.
Trevor's point of view I was seething mad; covered in blood and wanted my mate here with me so I knew she was safe. My dad let me know at the beginning that Jerica brought Trixie to him and that he wouldn't leave her side but it wasn't his job to protect her, it was mine. I howled at the sky. My pack along with me. We had killed all but one wolf which some of my gammas were taking to the basement cells on the north side of the property. The battle only lasted about an hour and a half. But a straight hour and a half of physical combat tearing other wolfs part can seem like a lifetime and you can lose yourself in the blood lust. I ordered my gammas to stay with the captive in shifts no less than three at a time. All others had orders to shower, eat and rest and we called in the next shift of border patrol early and doubled it. We only suffered one loss at the beginning. That one loss was one too many. I would clean up and talk to the family tomorrow. Eric was going to inform them toda
Trixie's point of viewTrevor held on to my hand like it was his life line. I held on just as much. I didn't want to be away from him. We all filed into Trevor's office. Trevor went to his desk and sat down pulling me unto his lap. Jerica and Jake both stood together on one side holding hands while the other two pack members that I could remember their names sat on the couch side by side and the Mr. and Mrs. Rogers sat on the other couch side by side. I nodded my head respectfully to them. Lord what a day and it wasn't going to get better. "The office is sound proof so you may speak freely." Trevor started the conversation. "Your mate is a seer." Trevor's father, Mr. Rogers spoke first. Trevor looked at me and nodded to him. "I would prefer if you spoke to her directly if you have a question for her. It is her gift." Trevor said calmly his eyes stared into mine while he spoke. "Was that your first vision?" Asked Mrs. Rogers to me. I broke away from my mate's eyes to answer his mother
Trixie's point of viewWe ate dinner with the pack or should I say we were just finishing up dinner when Trevor stopped any members from leaving stating that he had an announcement. "We had an unexpected battle today. Victory did not come without a price. A few injuries some of you will shake off in the next day or two. We had one loss that we won't be able to shake off. I will visit the family tomorrow whom was excused from tonight's dinner. " Everyone looked around and nodded. "We will double patrols moving forward. Training times will be doubled as well. In future battles will not be won at such a low cost. The rogues today were not trained and inexperienced. How will we hold us against rogues who have been trained? Against rogues who have experience in battle?" Trevor paused and looked around. All the warrior's face read this as a challenge. You could tell they would follow these orders without hesitation. Not only for the safety of the pack but because they wanted to be the best
Trixie's point of view Dinner wrapped up quickly once we returned from the office. Trevor quickly grabbing my hand and pulling me back to him. I fell into his lap once more and he wrapped his arm around me and continued some conversation with his dad and Eric, the beta and Jerica's father. I looked to Jerica and Mrs. Rogers. They both had smiles and were enjoying the conversations with the guys and Jerica and Jake had their own conversation going by which it looked like they were completely in love with each other. Jake was going to be devastated when she goes through her first shift and finds her mate. I shook my head look down at Trevor grateful the man I loved on my own was my mate. I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a little squeeze. He kissed my shoulder which was the closest thing to him. We will deal with the heartbroken Jake when we got there. Within a few minutes everyone left was dismissing themselves and we said our good nights to everyone. Trevor lead me back upst
Trevor's point of view I woke up to hearing Trixie lightly snoring on my chest. She looked so peaceful and sweet. I kissed the top of her head lightly knowing I had business to attend to. I gently slid her off on my chest and tucked the blanket around her. I grabbed some sweat pants and a black tee shirt and tennis shoes. I looked over at Trix one more time. I have to go. I am doing this to protect her. That is all the motivation I needed. I headed down the stairs and Eric, my Beta was waiting along with Joseph, my Gamma as well as Jake. I nodded to them all and said, "Morning." They nodded and returned the sentiment. "Let's go get some answers." I told them and headed out the pack house door and went to the cells across the property to get some information on why the Rogues where attacking. They all followed me except Jake who went to guard Trixie. I would not leave her unprotected again. One Gamma stood outside. One Gamma stood inside at the top of the stairs and another Gamma out
Trixie's point of view My alarm rang through the air to let me know if was time to get up and get ready for school. I reached up and turned it off and fell back into the bed and stretched out my body. Trevor wasn't in my and in fact his side wasn't even warm any more. I pouted to myself. I thought I would wake up with him in bed. Never the less I push out of bed and throw up some skinny jeans with a loose cropped sweater from my house and my chuck taylor converse to pull it together. I quickly did some light make up in the bathroom consisting of some blush, lip gloss and mascara. I decided to pull my hair into a high ponytail and I grabbed my back pack and headed downstairs. I opened the door and ran straight into the back of someone and fell back. "Sorry Luna, I didn't hear you coming to the door or I would have moved out of the way." Joseph told me and reach out a hand to help me up. I took his hand and and corrected him, "Trixie, you only need to call me Trixie. I am nothing but
Trixie's Point of viewThe day at school went by pretty quickly. The pack members who had stood guard for me yesterday in Trevor's dad's class were now in all of my classes, pretending to do the work. Annoying enough they did blend in and at lunch two of them sat with me and the girls and ate in silence. I heaved a sign in the back seat looking out the window. I hated how even annoyed I missed Trevor. I sat in the back of one of the Pack's SUVs while Jerica said up front with Jake. Their relationship seemed to be blossoming. Jerica being less and less resistant to form a relationship with him. The way he looked at her, I know he is a goner for her but she would shift in about a month or so and when she did I just hope fate throws him a bone. She giggles at another one of his bad jokes as I forced a smile when she turned back to look at me. I didn't want to be a third wheel party pooper on her afternoon. I am just glad I was going to participate in the afternoon training after visiti
