Surprise Visitor

Trixie and X point of view

X slid forward running as hard as she could. She seemed enthroned by a game of cat and mouse with Trevor. We ran along the river on the property. X sniffing the air chasing after a rabbit until it ran into the ground and then jumping across the river and running further from the pack house. We ran for a while before she settle and began trotting. I figured at any minute Trevor would bound up behind us and give us a run for our money home but I didn't even hear footsteps anywhere near us.

X circled around a large willow tree. It was like one from a fairy tale big and beautiful the vines creating a private area near the trunk. X decided we would wait for Trevor there. She laid down under the tree belly up looking at the fines coming around. It was about dusk and lighting bugs were around and lighting up with willow tree. The tree was beautiful. I heard someone approaching. X turns over expecting to see Trevor but we dont sense him or smell his scent instead,
