All I can think about is the way he made me feel so amazing and then so sh*tty when he left without a word. “So, what do we do about Eliza and Ember and Ash?” I grab a pillow and set it in my lap, making a show of getting comfortable. 37 - BenI try to call Elara, but I get exactly what I expected…sent to voice mail. I try Jax and Dev too, but no answer. They are either working or so tired they don’t hear it. 36 - BenI move to stand up. I need to get to a phone and check on her. I should not be able to feel her from this distance. Something has to be very, very wrong. We are not mated and marked.
