The person’s scent was familiar but I couldn’t place it. All of a sudden, he let go of me. I thought I was about to come face to face with Bryson or one of his guards. To my relief, it was Vlad.

“How did you find me?” I asked, trying to study him in the dark cave. My super eyesight was enabled me to identify him but I couldn’t see him very well.
