Novel's POV

“I didn't take you for a club person, Miss Novel,” he said with a smirk.

My mind was replaying my dreams, but I composed myself.

“I thought we had a get-together, but it was a prank for the nerds,” I explained, gesturing toward the club’s entrance.

He laughed. Though his laugh was swallowed by the loud music, I still heard it, and it was amazing.

“You were leaving, right?”

I nodded.

“Okay, good. Let's go together.”

After saying this, he placed his hand on the small of my back. This action sent immediate shivers down my spine. I guess he noticed it, too, since he looked at me and then smirked.

I followed him out, and when we got outside the club, I felt like the happiest person alive. I won't say I'm an introvert, but I love my peace and the man beside me too. He pulled his car key from his pocket and walked me to his car. He opened the passenger door of his Lamborghini for me, and honestly, I felt like a princess in distress who had been saved by a knight in shining armor.

“Ahem,” he said, knocking me out of my thoughts. “You think a lot, Miss Novel.” He smiled as he started the engine. “I called you after the interview. Why didn't you pick up?” he asked softly. I could swear I heard the disappointment in his voice.

“Was it you?” I covered my mouth in recognition. “It was an unknown number, so I didn't pick up.” I said with a look of apology.

He laughed again. “You amuse me, Miss Novel,” he said with a smirk plastered to his face as he drove. I swear he's exactly the kind of mess I swore I'd avoid, but after all the lies, maybe a little chaos is exactly what I need. He stopped the car, and when I looked around, I realized I was at my apartment. “How did you know I live here? I didn't tell you.” Was Mr. Greek God here a stalker?

He rubbed the back of his neck anxiously, then he finally answered. “I checked your social media pages. That's how I know,” he replied with a smile. “I told you, I find you amusing, Miss Novel,” he said as he locked eyes with me. I couldn't read his expression. How could a billionaire’s son, who was also a billionaire himself, find me amusing?

Before I could say a word or react, he kissed me. It was not like I had imagined or dreamt; it was much more amazing. He kissed me softly, like he was afraid I would run away. I was so shocked I couldn't move, and I couldn't kiss back.

He pulled away a few seconds later. “Sorry,” he said, then hurried to his car and drove off, leaving me standing there in shock and happiness.

“Why did he say sorry?” I thought. Should I call to ask him? What if he says, “Sorry, I was a little drunk, that’s why” What would I do?

I could hardly sleep that night, and when I woke up, my eyes had dark circles. Just when I thought today couldn't get any worse, I received a notification from our ‘News Writing and Reporting’ class. It was a loaded class because seniors and juniors were part of it, along with some Mass Communication students. “Why me?” I have been a nerd since forever, and I am an only child. My parents are not very rich, but they are loaded, and the loneliness is the reason why I find it hard to make friends and Survive this class, since nobody really like me

I sat at the back today because the hall was full. I couldn't stop thinking about last night. “Why did he say sorry?” I kept thinking.

I didn't even notice the guy beside me until he tapped me. “Oh, hi,” I laughed awkwardly, he was The angel of yesterday.

“Leo. Leonard White,” he said, and I smiled at him.

“Do you need anything?” I asked, and he nodded.

“What?”

He smiled mischievously. “Your name, please.”

I knew I was meant to appreciate his beauty, but I couldn't get Mr. Alexei, aka Greek God, out of my mind. “Novel Hart,” I said, then turned back to my book.

I decided to focus on all my classes today so I could forget about it, but after my last class, he called.

“Hello?” I said awkwardly.

“I'm at the parking lot,” he said, then hung up.

I hurried to the parking lot and saw him in his Greek glory. He looked like a movie star as he rested on a new car. I don't know much about cars, but this was definitely not a Lamborghini.

“Hi,” I waved.

“Hi,” he said, rubbing his hands at the back of his neck.

He opened the passenger door for me, just like he did yesterday. He turned around then entered the car. The drive to my apartment was silent, too silent. The only sound in the car was the rhythmic clicking of the turn signal, feeling ten times louder in the suffocating and awkward tension. All of a sudden, he pulled the car over to the side of the road, the engine idling. I turned to him, confused. “What…” Before I could complete my sentence, he kissed me.

This time, it was different from yesterday. The kiss was filled with want and need. He bit my lower lip, and when I gasped, he slid his tongue into my mouth. He kissed me hard, and this made me grow wet. His hands found their way to my waist has he pressed me forward and kissed me hard with frustration.

“Do you hate me that much?” he whispered against my mouth.

I shook my head.

“Then why didn't you respond to my kiss?”

I was puzzled. He pulled away from me and started the car like nothing had just happened. I fiddled with my fingers, contemplating if I should tell him I was a virgin. But what if he got angry and abandoned me, just like my parents did?

She forced her way through the gale, searching blindly for Alexei, as she was inside his mind.“Alexei!” she called out, her voice competing against the roaring storm. “I’m alive! Please, stop!”S

  • The Alpha's World Claimed Me    Let's do it

Novel I wonder if I was being too serious, or if I just knew for certain that Viktor was up to something terrible. But none of that matters right now. All I care about is finding my roots._____Two weeks have passed since I left Alexei’s pack house, and I’ve spent every single day searching for answers about where I come from.I searched until I found the abandoned hut from my vision. In real life, it looked identical to what I had seen, weathered wood, decaying moss, and an overwhelming heavy atmosphere. I stepped inside, only to find the interior completely trashed, furniture overturned, and papers strewn across the floor. I walked through the debris, desperately looking for anything that could explain my past. Was I really the child of a Hunter and a wolf? Is this why Alexei and I are cursed? And how can I save us both? I wondered, sifting through the dust.“Master, take a look at this,” Kitty called out, gesturing toward a tattered leather book lying in the dirt.I approached it

  • The Alpha's World Claimed Me    She's Dead

Alexei After discharging Viktor and ensuring he was safely settled in his room, I returned to my office.I sank into my chair, my mind spiraling into dark places as I tried to make the pieces fit together. Viktor was my best friend and my Beta, but Novel was my mate. Viktor hadn't done anything openly malicious to Novel for her to suspect he was the enemy foretold in the prophecy... had he?Something isn't right, I thought, standing up abruptly and pacing over to the window.Viktor kept losing track of the Rossi family. First it was Maxillo, and now even Elora and the Doctor had slipped through his fingers. And through it all, Novel was out there, unprotected and alone.I paced back and forth across the rug, my heart heavy with growing panic. Could Novel actually be right? Was I the blind fool who refused to see the truth? What if Viktor really was the enemy?“Mmmm,” I groaned softly, rubbing my temples in sheer exhaustion._____Two weeks passed. Two agonizing weeks, and Novel still

  • The Alpha's World Claimed Me    Alexei you fool

Novel I stood facing Alexei, my posture stiff and my hands clenched into tight fists behind my back. I might have been weak before, foolish, naive, and easily pushed around…but I was done standing by while everything crumbled. I didn't know every detail of the game Viktor was playing, but I knew with absolute certainty that Alexei was falling hard for his manipulation. I might not be a master strategist, but from everything I’d seen, Viktor was up to no good.Alexei took a step toward me, reaching out, but I immediately recoiled. I turned and walked out the door, signaling for him to follow so we could speak without an audience. He caught the subtle message and trailed closely behind me.“Novel, you’re getting this all wrong,” he said the second we were out of earshot, his voice desperate. “Viktor isn't a bad person... he’s just a pawn in someone else's game.”“A pawn, you say?” I inhaled deeply, battling the sudden surge of rage in my chest. “I’m going back to my apartment,” I said

  • The Alpha's World Claimed Me    It was all a misunderstanding

Alexei's POV The room was heavy with the scent of lavender and the salt of unshed tears. My heart hammered against my ribs, a dull, aching thud, as I watched Novel. She was coiled tightly on the silk duvet, a small, trembling figure lost in a sea of blankets. Seeing her like this….. broken, sobbing into the pillows, tore at my soul. I hated it. I was her Alpha, her protector, yet I felt powerless against the grief that had swallowed her whole. As I reached out to brush a stray hair from her face, my mind began to spiral into dark, jagged places. A poisonous thought took root: was Viktor hiding something? The realization hit me like a physical blow. If Novel was in this state, it had to mean my trust had been misplaced. Viktor, my closest confidant, had given me a photo that he claimed was Maxillo, but it wasn't. The seeds of suspicion began to grow. Was it possible? Could Viktor actually be the enemy?I leaned in, trying to drown out the doubt by focusing on her. When our lips met,
