Gone

The night was still cold when I left NorthRidge behind.

I did not stop walking.

Even when my legs started hurting.

Even when the forest became darker.

I just kept going.

The truth was I had no idea where I was heading to.

No plan.

No destination.

Nothing.

But staying back there would only destroy me slowly.

So I kept moving forward.

Branches brushed against my arms as I walked deeper into the forest. The small bag rested against my shoulder while my mothers sword stayed secured behind me.

First Lesson*****Morning came fast.Freya did not stay inside. She stood alone near the training grounds holding her mothers sword. The sword rested quietly inside her hand while her mind continued replaying Alpha Kaels words from last night.I will help you unlock your powers. She lowered her eyes toward the golden blade.Power.Everybody kept talking about power. The witch. Her wolf. The strangers.Blood Crown.Even Alpha Kael. But nobody truly understood how tired she was.People only saw strength when it finally appeared.Nobody saw what happened before it.The fear. The pain. The loneliness.NorthRidge taught her many things. How to survive. How to stay silent. How to endure pain. How to hide tears. But it never taught her how to become strong. That part she would have to learn herself.A soft sound pulled her away from her thoughts.Footsteps.Steady.Calm.Alpha Kael.He stopped beside her.His eyes moved toward the sword. You came early.Freya adjusted her grip slightly.I

Blood Does Not Lie*****My eyes slowly opened. For a few seconds I could not understand where I was.Everything felt strange.Quiet.Too quiet. Then memory returned. The strange men.The fight. The words.Blood Crown.I quickly pushed myself up.Pain rushed through my body immediately.A sharp ache spread through my shoulders. My chest tightened.Easy.The voice made me freeze.Alpha Kael.He sat near the chair beside me.Not moving. Not speaking.Just watching. The morning light touched part of his face. His expression looked calm. But something inside his eyes felt heavy.Like he had been sitting there for a long time. You are awake.I slowly nodded. Are you okayYes.My voice came out softer than I wanted. He studied me quietly.Freya.I looked up.Can you tell me who you areSilence.Who are youWhy are people hunting you everywhereMy fingers slowly tightened around the blanket.Alpha first I am sorry.Sorry for what exactly …This is all my fault.No.His voice turned firm.Do

The Night Blood Spoke*****The pack slowly settled after Alpha Kael accepted me.Slowly.But not peacefully.Peace never came.I felt it the moment I stepped inside. The looks. The whispers. The silent questions nobody wanted to ask directly.Who was I?Why would Alpha Kael allow a stranger to stay? Why would someone from NorthRidge suddenly appear here alone?Nobody said it to my face. They did not need to.I already understood how packs worked.People smiled at you.Helped you.Pretended everything was fine. Then the moment you walked away, the whispers started.A servant girl led me toward one of the smaller buildings near the west side of the pack house. You can stay here for now she said quietly.Thank you.She smiled politely before leaving. The door closed.Silence followed.Real silence. Not the heavy silence from NorthRidge. Not the silence that came with punishment. This one felt different.Strange.Almost uncomfortable. For the first time since leaving NorthRidge behind,

A New Pack*****The hunters did not leave me in the forest. After speaking among themselves for a while, they decided to take me with them.I did not trust them completely, but I followed quietly because I had no choice. The forest was getting darker again, and I was too tired to keep wandering without direction.None of them spoke much during the journey.Only the sound of horses and footsteps filled the road as we moved farther away from NorthRidge. My wolf stayed alert inside me the entire time.“Be careful,” she whispered.I know. One of the hunters kept glancing at me from time to time, especially at the sword behind my back, but he never asked questions.Hours later, large gates appeared ahead of us.A different pack. The walls were higher than NorthRidge. Guards stood near the entrance holding weapons while wolves moved around carefully. The hunters stopped at the gate immediately.“We found her near the southern forest,” one of them explained to the guards. The guards looked

The Beginning of FearNobody said a word after the witch finished talking. The silence inside the room became uncomfortable. Even the elders who had been questioning me earlier suddenly had nothing to say anymore.Lucia was the first to break the silence. So this is her fault.I slowly looked at her.She stepped forward immediately like she had been waiting for the chance.“The attacks started after she came here,Lucia continued. Now the witch herself is saying more danger is coming because of her bloodline.Several elders exchanged uneasy looks.I could already see where this was going.Fear.Then blame. The same thing all over again. One elder nodded slowly.“She may be right.”Xavier frowned instantly. You heard the witch, he said Freya didn’t cause this. But she brought it here. Another elder replied. The room started getting tense again.Lucia noticed it immediately and pushed harder. We should send her away before those creatures return. My chest tightened a little, but I stayed
