Grace’s POV

I stir and groan, not wanting to wake up.

For the first time in years, I had actually had a good dream. I had dreamt that Luca had kissed me for the first time and it was honestly perfect and now I don't know how I feel. I think I definitely trust him more after what happened last night but he still makes me nervous. Hopefully, things will get easier now though.

I smile and open my eyes, instantly searching the room for him, but he's not there.

His bedding is neatly folded on the couch and the bucket is no longer there.

Where is he?

Nervously, I pick up my phone and text him, asking him where he is. I lay back in bed for a moment before my phone vibrates in my hand. I smile and hold it above my face.

'I'm in the bathroom, gimme two seconds, Princess!'

I smile, crinkling my nose at the reply. As of last night, he's been calling me Princess and to be honest, I quite like it. It makes me feel special. I've never had anyone call me by a nickname before. Not even my parents.

Alpha Luca’s POVI stalk down the stairs and outside, trying to contain myself. I run off into the forest as a deep growl escapes my throat."She likes them more than us" Dante hisses in anger."I know! What the hell?!" I reply as I shift, letting Dante take over.He lets out a loud howl as we whip between the trees. We run for a while before we get to the borderline. He follows the boundary for a few minutes before picking up two scents that are all too familiar. The twins.God, the last two people I want to see right now are out on a run too. I keep running till I find them sitting in a clearing talking. I shift, put on some shorts and walk over to them."Heyyy," Ella says happily."Hey," I reply, tartly."You okay, bro?"Evan asks curiously."I'm fine," I say, trying not to lose it. The twins look at each other and they can tell something's not right."Spit it out," says, turning back to look at me as she crosses her arms over her chest while raising her eyebrow.I groan and run my ha

Grace’s POV God, dinner smells heavenly. If only I had the appetite for it. After having breakfast together this morning,Luca dropped me off at the library - which he had very kindly made sure no one else would be there - as he had to leave to go attend to come Alpha duties. However, I had hardly read anything as I spent more time being nervous about meeting his siblings tonight than anything else.Luca watches me as we eat our food, every so often glancing at my plate to see how much I've eaten. I think my eating habits are making him nervous and I think it's kinda sweet that he cares. We finish and he cleans up, although I only managed to eat about half of what he had served me."When are your siblings getting here?" I sign nervously."In a few minutes," he replies with a small smile before putting the plates away. I nod and bite my lip and he comes around to me with a frown on his face."You don't have to meet them if you don't want to. You are more than welcome to change your mind

Alpha Luca’s POV I stir and roll over, groaning as a faint light floods my eyes as I open them. Moonlight streams in the balcony doors and I notice that I'm back in bed.I thought I fell asleep on the floor because I had no energy left after crying. The memories of Luca dancing with that girl flood my vision for a moment. He must have come in somehow and moved me. I shiver at the thought.I roll over and check my phone. The screen reads half past midnight.Good god. Why am I awake?I groan again and reach above my head to turn the light on and instantly spot the new food on the coffee table.I suddenly feel really hungry so I get up, wrap myself in a blanket and head over to have something to eat. I manage to finish about half of what is there but give up on the rest because I feel full.I look around the room and see thatLuca is nowhere to be found.I thought he said he was going to sleep on the couch. Strange.Maybe he's just busy and hasn't come to bed yet?I frown and decide to g

Alpha Luca’s POV My heart breaks a little as I watch Acacia run up the stairs."Go to her," my sister Bella says quietly. I nod and race up the stairs behind her, only to be greeted by a locked door.I bang on the door and she sobs harder."Acacia!..." I roar at her, still pounding on the door."Let me in!...""Please!...""I can explain!.."I stop and I hear her drop to the floor.Oh god. What have I done?Anger and hurt rush through me as I turn slowly and head back down the stairs to Bella. *"She locked the door," I say quietly."Well why didn't you break the lock?" she asks, looking at me confused.+"Because she's deaf, Bella.""Oh right, I forgot about that.""She was standing in front of the door so I would have hurt her more than we already have if I had broken the lock and forced my way in.”"What do you mean we?" she asks, raising an eyebrow at me."Bella, she hasn't met you yet" I start, getting more upset. "She will have walked down and seen me dancing with a random girl

Grace’s POV My jaw drops as we walk into the house. It's massive!Ilook around and I am pleasantly surprised. It's modern but not too fancy and it's very clean. Very different to any of the houses in my old pack from what I remember. The kitchen, dining room and living room are all connected. All very crisp and beautiful.Grayson closes the door with his foot before carrying me up the stairs. We get to the top and he walks us into the second room on the right.I instantly know that it's Grayson's room. It's really quite beautiful. It reeks of him though. Not that he ever smells bad. He actually smells quite divine really.I look around the room, taking it all inThe walls are dark grey, with dark hardwood flooring and a white ceiling. A white fluffy rug covers the floor under his bed, which is truly gigantic. It's honestly one of the biggest beds I have ever seen in my life. The bed has a lighter grey bed frame with a navy duvet, white sheets and white pillows while a beautiful piece

Grace’s POV I open my eyes, groggily and rub my hands over my face. I roll my head to the left and I am instantly greeted by a beautiful bouquet of red roses in a white vase that I've ever seen.Grayson.I've never been given roses before.I smile and yawn before sitting up and grabbing a drink of water.God, I'm thirsty. I proceed to down the whole glass in a matter of seconds before placing the glass neatly back on the table.Aww man, now I have to pee.I decide that I should probably try to do this myself rather than having Teresa help me. I fling my legs out of the bed and step down onto the cold floor, wincing slightly at the temperature shock.Shakily, I take a step, pleasantly surprised at the fact that I have enough strength to walk. I continue to take a few steps but suddenly find myself on the floor.Okay, so maybe I'm not as strong yet as I thought.Teresa must've been on her way to check on me as she rushes in and helps me up and into the bathroom. She leaves to let me us

Alpha Luca’s POV "See! I told you she would accept us!" Dante says excitedly."I know she did, but she's still fucking scared of me" I reply as I walk out of her hospital room. This is the third time she's passed out in the last week or so and every time I've been the reason."I know but it's going to be okay. You've just got to show her she can trust you.""That's easier said than done, Dante. Plus, I'm new to all this mate stuff because unlike most of the other wolves in my pack, I haven't ever dated properly. I've never had sex either. I've chosen to save myself for my mate.""Lies, dude. We both know that the only reason you haven't dated around properly is that you felt no need to have a mate or a girlfriend. Yeah, you may not have had sex but you've done pretty much everything else. Plus, up until the day you saw Grace , you thought you were the most powerful Alpha in the world and if you had someone, they'd weigh you down. There's a reason you have the reputation you do, you k

Grace’s POV I groan and roll over as I start to stir. I don't want to wake up. Waking up means dealing with all my problems.Suddenly, I'm hit with the most intoxicating smell ever.A sickly sweet musk.Luca.Far out! Why now?I open my eyes to see a sleeping him slumped in the chair next to me. I look around and see I'm back in the hospital.Dammit, I must've passed out again. I groan and run my hands over my face before rolling onto my back. I turn my attention to the door as I see Doctor Teresa walk in"He's been here the whole time you've been out you know" she starts, signing."He's probably only just fallen asleep. Poor thing, he's been trying to stay awake until you woke up but it obviously got the best of him.""How long was I out for?" I sign"Almost a day. Understandable though. Passing out seems to be your body's defence mechanism towards stress. Please know he didn't intend for you to see that. He had failed to mention it to me. Silly man. Had I known, we wouldn't have g
