Chapter 5

Three days later and I'm standing in the dinning hall.

Seeing that I can't train anytime soon I've been helping with cooking duties and pack cleaning duties which is OK for now it's a welcomed distraction.

Placing the food on the main table I turn around and see Anthony and his mate.

Ashley tells me her name is Mia.

She is pretty, she dangles on his arm as I use too.

I sigh put my head down and head back towards the kitchen almost making it when our beta Joe calls my name from across the room.

I turn to him and glare lifting my head I see everyone's eyes on me all this pitty in one room is depressing.

Approaching the head table I smile greeting my Alpha and Luna I glare at beta Joe.

What I snap kinda harshly so he knows I'm pissed.

He smiles there's my girl he says and winks at me.

He must know about everything.

He so annoying, we are all pretty close these guys are my only family.

I grind my teeth and my eyes flash black with swirls of gold.

I know you didn't disturb my leave to flash me a toothy smile, I ask feeling my nails dig into my fist.

You must think of yourself as avery important person.

He smiles his toothy grin and says not very important but important enough to know you would come and visit with me.

Holding my hand up, stop with the non sense you should know not to rile me up I say stepping deathly close to him.

The Alpha laughs and shakes his head you too cut it out,

Joe stop harassing her and let her leave.

I turn and see all eyes are still on me and one specific pair I really wished I'd never have to see.

Hey who was I kidding my mind and my heart was at a battle and my wolf wasn't responding to me.

Only coming to surface if I was scared or she didn't like someone's tone other than that I got nothing.

Catching eye contact he nods and smile I can't seem bitter I can't let him see me weak.

I can't seem to shake it so to make it less awkward I smile and nod back.

I hear the whispers.

We are wolf's I'm sure we all do.

She wraps her arms around his bicep and leans in to his neck where he now wears her mark.

I smile and continue my journey not stopping back at the kitchen.

I head home that just emotionally drained me for the day.

He looks happy I sigh walking into my home atleast one of us are.

I go into the kitchen and heat up my leftovers the chef has been sending food daily thanks to alphas order.

I'm happy he does it or I'd probably never eat. 

Sitting on my couch enjoying the chicken noodle soup and watching a little tv.

A mind link opens up and it's Alpha Chris.

Yes Alpha I respond, he replies pack up some things I've found a pack that's willing to let you stay for awhile and heal maybe with luck find your mate.

Yeah maybe.

When will I be leaving? Who is the pack? Is there any specifics I should know.

I bombard him with a ton of questions, there pack is the Moonlight Drifters there Alphas name is Zeke.

He isn't mated yet so he has no Luna but he has held the title since 18 and he is 28 years old he treats his people good and I believe you will have no problems there.
