Chapter 7

Standing straight I look into his eyes.

Hello I'm Lynette Childs thank you very much for extending me this warm welcome.

Extending my hand for a hand shake.

I take notice that he has frown lines and his eyes are flashing that dangerous color of green and silver, he looks up and ask your mate?

I look at Alpha Chris confused.

He looks at Alpha Zeke and I reply I'm sorry I'm not mated is that a problem he growls and I jump in fear my Alpha pushes me behind him ready to defend.

He stops when Alpha Zeke says you dare to protect my mate against me.

Everyone eyes snapped back to me and then him, seeing the swirling of his eyes change color I step back until I've reached the door.

Getting ready to open and escape when a strong hand gripped my elbow and stopped me.

Everyone out he says in a dangerously dark voice.

I try to step forward his grip tightens, everyone but you he says as his eyes flash darkly again.

I meet his eyes and instantly stop both betas immediately exit the room my Alpha approaches the door and say I think I should stay and help explain.

He fixed his eyes on my Alpha and sent a deathly glare OUT.

Given my Alpha one last glance the door slams close and I'm toward over by a six foot three giant.

I step back until I'm sitting in a chair breathing out of control and looking for an escape.

Tell me Lynette if your not mated then who sent is all over you combined with yours so heavily.

I stutter out n no no one's he glares letting me know not to lie to him.

I put my head down and my tears fall I sit there and cry silently with my head down when I finished my pitty party.

I looked up and anf asked what if the truth you find here is not something you can forgive or get pass I say with a shaky breath looking to get a hint of what he is feeling.

I  won't promise you anything.

What I want is the truth and I suggest you start talking, now your in a no bargaining position.

I sighed sitting  up in the chair and looked off into his fire place.

A couple minutes past he was getting upset and I can feel the chill he was sending down my back. I look back and exhale the long breath I've been holding.

I was sixteen when Anthony Johnson approached me and asked me out on my very first date.

I denied him at first but then I thought there's no harm in being friends.

I was ecstatic I mean he was a popular guy well manners respectful and the girls all swooned over him.
