Prologue

Silent eery night. The stillness and chilliness didn't deter the woman who held a child tightly in her arms as she ran through the woods.

She stops in front of a chariot and peers inside. She sees no one and is scared out of her wits when she feels cold hands on her shoulder.

"I found her." She said as she turned around and saw the figure in a black cloak.

"She looks like my sister. Unfortunately, I have to kill her also." The cloaked figure which turned out to be a woman said.

She reached out and tried to touch the baby but kept getting bounced back. Enraged, she asked the woman who held the child, "What is happening?!"

"I did everything you asked me to do but... a foul play was suspected. Her mother had a witch cast a protection spell on her. No matter what, she can't die."

"How clever." The cloaked woman tsked. Then she reached into her cloak and produced something from her jacket. "Here, give her this. it'd make her extremely displeasing to the eyes for everyone she comes across as she grows up."

The other woman took it with both hands while still having her head lowered.

Before the cloaked woman left, she said, "Remember you are to keep whatever happened tonight a secret, otherwise you'll loose more than your mistress." then she was gone.

The other woman also fled, running into the woods, determined to start life afresh.
