Chapter 17: Helping an elderly woman

The minutes tick by as Adhara calms down a bit and leaves for the interview she has worked so hard to get. With a lot of makeup on so that her puffy eyes don't show, she leaves for the interview at the best company in the country.
As Adhara leaves, ignoring her family, Jareth wakes up and looks at the money on the table with annoyance. As if it were a kind of deja vu, he gets up and smiles to see that this time, no note has been left for him.
