Celeste’s POV
Today was the day I was supposed to be seeing Kate. From there, we would be investigating what really happened that day. After I was done bathing, I opened the closet that held Killian’s cloth and mine. He had given me a part to keep my clothes which I was thankful for. My room in my previous pack wasn’t even up to the size of this closet.
I took out a romper suit, putting it on. My thoughts still lingered around what had occurred just this morning. He was intimate with me and stopped without any warning of any sort. A part of me appreciated he did while another part of me craved to be with him.
I also had to find time to go see Maliah, after last night. Her call had made me have a panic attack somehow, which was just too bad. The sooner I met her for explanation the better. And, maybe I could actually get to know why I still was affected by something that happened five years ago.
